Today I got a call from this number telling me he was with the Windows support system and that my computer was full of viruses and I needed to do whatever he told me to do so that I could see all the viruses and get rid of them.  He got very angry when I told him I did not understand why he would be calling me because I had security on my computer to cover that.  He further insisted that I do what he says and I would see the viruses.  I told him I would not open up my computer or allow him access but would call the number I was given for technical support.
I had a very uneasy feeling about him, not because of the foreign accent as much as his manner especially since he did not address me by my name. If you have access to my phone number, you should know who I am and address me in a business manner.  I am afraid he might have been some scammer that wanted access to my computer so I hung up.

I got called too... He wanted to talk to one Pat. He was an Indian guy (going by his accent). Add this number to your reject list!

I received a call from them before and then today. The first time they called talking about I had a lot of viruses and I told them that I was out of town and did not have my computer and she immediately hung up. This time they called and I kept saying hello and then an automated voice came on and said goodbye. I added the number to my reject list and I have restarted my phone I am about to call my cell phone provider to have this number permanently banned from calling me. I would suggest the same because I don't know if they can send a virus to my phone or not.

I was told all this too today and that someone was using my computer to send out viruses and he also said the FBI was looking at my computer activities and he could fix it. I said I DON"t THINK SO and hung up!! We need to let someone know of this activity. Why isn't the nsa protecting us against this?

This is the second time I was called from this number in the past several months, both times saying I had a virus on my Windows computer, blah blah. This time I told the man with the foreign accent that I would be happy to report it his call as fraud and he immediately hung up.

It's a scam! Don't answer!!!!

Didn't answer call, read these posts and called the number.  Verizon said that the number had been changed or no longer in service.  All within a few minutes.  Special place in hell for these crooks.

Same here too but, he said hello and hung up. I called back no answer.

We got this call today.  Same MO.  Calling about my computer and an Indian voice stating I had viruses.  Said I
don't think so and hung up.  Called the number back and was told it was out of service. YES this a SCAM DO NOT ANSWER

Male from Washington DC / 202-800-4629, strong India Accent, called tried to tell me what to do about viruses on my computer, that Microsoft Windows was not letting me remove them, and that he was the only way that it could be done.    I just told him that I didn't have a computer, he said "OH, Ok then sorry for the call".     He didn't have my name - so I figured it to be a random number call in the Mid-Michigan area - with a Big Scam Artist wearing a Turbin, just trying to marry my daughter or my wife.   But, he could have the damn cat, he pees on everything anyway, hope the cat pees on their system.

They called asking about my computer, when I asked "what is the nature of your call who do want to speak with" I was told Mark Zuckerberg...I said he's busy working at Facebook don't ever call again!

I received 2 calls from this number to my cell phone. They were both hangups. I wonder how come he didn't talk to me...Does he know that I come from a family of Cops!!

They called saying we had viruses in our computer, as we do actually have them. My boss is a very gullible guy and went on with the conversation with this Indiana guy. My boss let him have access to the computer which happens to have all our business accounting information on it, bank accts, tchek system, ect. The Indiana guy told him he now needs a credit card. At least my boss wasn't that gullible. He asked the guy for a number to call back after speaking with his accountant (me). The guy then started saying unkind things about his mother, wife and kids once I refused to give him access to our credit card. The Indiana guy then said he was going to start deleting files and copying them off our computer. We seen files he was putting in the trash so I immediately pulled the main power cord from the computer. I still receive calls from this guy.

This past weekend, we received three calls from this number - I finally answered the third one and an Indian woman stated that she needed to assist me with Windows on our PC. I wouldn't let her continue speaking and when she knew that she couldn't get anywhere with me, she hung up. I immediately contacted the FCC, who directed me to the FTC (1-877-382-4357).  IF YOU GET THESE CALLS, REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY TO THE FTC - THEY WANT TO BE MADE AWARE OF THESE!!!

Caller said I had a virus on my computer, I am so tired of these people.

This number called me 8 times in one day. I answered the first time and hung up on him, then ignored the rest.

He further insisted that I do what he says and I would see the viruses.  I told him I would no. He got angry with me and I hung up again after telling him to stop calling.

called with soft voice telling I have virus on my computer claimed to be from Microsoft when I questioned she hung up on me. the number was pirated and was not a working number I called back to get company name to report to authorities .
