Against my better judgement, I answered the phone....no response...must've been an invitation to a White House gathering for Obummer since the caller ID said Washington, DC.

They called first at 5:15 PM and again at 8:55 PM caller ID said Wash. DC. The 2nd time they left a message to call back for important information. I think it was Osama bin Laden's ghost looking for revenge. Of course I did not return their call and they better get a new phone number cause I blocked em.

And the beat goes on and on and on. And I block em all.....

202-803-4906 is AARP calling under the pretense of conducting a survey. But, they are actually telemarketers. The reasoning is that companies conducting "surveys" do not have to abide by the Do Not Call List. Only telemarketers must abide or be fined by the FTC. AARP discovered a new way to circumvent the federal Do Not Call List....

Got a call today from Washington, D.C. I do not answer any calls I don't recognize the number. They left no message either. If it was a survey I damn sure don't do those either, am on the do not call list so whomever this is can LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!

This is the second time I have reported this number!  I am sick & tired of getting these stupid calls....whomever it is doesn't even have the balls to leave a msg!! STOP CALLING ME DAMMIT!

The stupid phone calls are starting all over again. Wish they would stop. I hate them.

I feel like everyone else; calls are unwanted and unappreciated. Just want to be left alone!!!

Caller ID shows " Washington D.C.".......I just added them to my call blocker device...Good Bye!

I got several calls from this number this past week. Caller id says Washington DC. I decided to answer to see if it was my congressman. Guy said he was from AARP but from the questions I have my doubts. Asking questions about cutting medicare and medicaid. Questions were asked in such a way that I suspect it might have been some political group. Asked for my email. Don't think so.

No message.  They just hung up.  I've had this number several times before and they never answer when I say hello.

All Congressmen/Congressladies are also in Washington, DC. But, it all likelihood it was a scam.
I have been receiving a lot of those lately. Most are associated with the Dominican Republic or Jamaica.
Do NOT answer these calls and especially do NOT return their calls.

Got the call at 9:05 p.m. CST.  When I answered the phone, there was no response.  HMM.  Any one who calls at this time of night better be an emergency from now on!  Please don't call me again.  Wonder how much you get paid for the # of phone calls you make and you don't have to reply to the caller?  I want that job, I'm unemployed, 60 and looking for a "cush" job.

Bot asked me to hold for an important message. A few seconds later a gentleman claiming to be AARP asked me about giving out my medicare number first, then asked me if I realized that giving out numbers involving medical things could lead to Identity Theft, Then asked if I have any medical documents laying around. I let him know I'm not on Medicare, I do know better then to give out any such numbers and that I shred all documents I don't keep in my safe. He thanked me for the information & hung up. His voice did sound disappointed. I have talked to AARP many times they have always been straight & to the point, this call didn't fit their profile. My brother told me about a Cd available from Amazon.com Called, "Stop Telemarketers", that has a special tone that blocks calls like this. They claim that when your answering machine or voice-mail answers and plays the tone the robot caller will automatically kick your number out of their database & hang up. When used properly the calls will stop coming in after a week or two. Amazon will get you a refund if it doesn't work as claimed. I think I'm going to try it.

Got  an unwanted call from this number today.  Annoying.  There ought to be a law against this type invasion of privacy.   I am registered on the do-not call list.  Largely it is disregarded by telemarketers.   When I answered the phone caller hung up.  No message.  If it were political type call, their ears would burn with my remarks.
