How is it with the internet that noone knows who this is? HELP!!!

Got a from same number about 20 minutes ago.  Left no message.  We don't answer numbers we don't recognize.  We wait for a message to be left.  showed as "CUST CARE DEPT."

Caller Complaints says it's a spoof call.

You can buy equipment that will fake out your caller ID so I ignore any generic ID such as "CUST CARE DEPT" or obviously fake #s (000-000-0000).  I just click the phone on and off immediately - no message, nothing.  The auto dialer thinks it got disconnected or the person thinks the same and they move on to the next #.  

If you do get a live person tell them to hold on, wait for a few min, ask if they are still there, ask them to hold on again, and repeat.  =)

Says in my caller ID Washington DC, WTF they want? Another telemarketer fraudster wants you ripp off Beware of these calls.

Received a call from Cust Care Dept 202-803-4955 I do not know who this is, and why is my DO NOT CALL not working?

DO NOT CALL doesn't work because these people are out of country and have internet numbers with no land line presence in USA. Hence they can ignore DNC registry without fear of prosecution.

Wow! Very interesting. Makes sense. I don't answer my phone unless I know the number. What do these companies gain from making these calls?

It's gotten so bad I've resorted to unplugging my line. It's been unplugged since Monday (today's Thurs). And as soon as I plug it back in, guess what? I get a call from this number. It hadn't even been 2 minutes.. Unbelievable.

A robo call asking if I wanted/needed dental insurance

We received a call from the same company today. Left no message

I don't know what to do or think.  They're been calling me for days and I don't know who they are or what they want! Please help!

Got a Robo call for Dental care.  

"Press 1 to speak to a professional, or press 2"  I pressed 2.  It hung up.

When I called back from a blocked number, it asked if I wanted to removed from the list for the number that called me, to press 1.  I did, it said thank you... 48 hours... OH GOOD, my blocked number has been removed.  ;)

i hate spam numbers, thank god iphone has a block caller option.
