No one was on the line.

Calls around 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  You can here a man and a woman talking back and forth but no one says anything when you say hello.

They ring the phone, but hang up when asked to leave a voice-mail. I don't answer any call from an unknown number that does not identify itself and certainly don't return a call to such a call that will not leave a voice mail that convinces me that they are a legitimate caller.

Oct. 27, 2012 - every hour I have been getting calls from this number. ID reads Washington. Did not answer until the 4th call figuring it was a political ad. Fifth call, I answered, no one there. Cannot tell if call is connected. Waited to see if a recorded message would come on but it didn't. This number has now called 10 times and I am blocking that number!

"Richard" called asking if I was voting YES on Prop 6 in Michigan

Calls several times a day with "Washington DC" showing on my Caller ID.  No message left until tonight (30 Nov 12 about 1900) and it said in a very fast foreign accent "A representative will be with you in 30 seconds."  Irritating.

If this is a political call, why are they calling after the elections are over?  I'm on the no-call list.  Why do they call?  Tonight's call came at 8:05 pm, along with two others earlier in the day and several yesterday.  How do I file a complaint?  Can SOMEBODY file a complaint to make this stop?  I finally blocked it.

Who are these bloody people?
Even though i am on a do not call register these calls always get through.
What is their purpose.
I do not think the penalties are stiff enough, The death penalty might be a good place to start, what do you think?

Get phone calls two -three times a day from 202-803-4999, the caller I.D. shows only Washington D.C. and when I answer the phone it goes dead!! The Caller I.D. on the Television lists the phone number in Washington D.C. . I call the phone number and a recording with a Man's voice states If you want to be placed on our Do Not Call List push 1, then the phone goes dead,  I have pushed 1 many times before, but they persist, Who actually is the subscriber to this phone number?????

Got 5 calls in last two days, varying times throughout the day. On the last one yesterday a female voice left a message "My name is Jessica. Can you hear me?"  I am blocking this number today.

Received 7 phone calls all within 3 hours of each other the last 2 days. My caller ID on my land line says Washington DC. I have not answered or called back and when it goes to the answering machine it's just a few seconds of silence left on the recording.
