told me I had a tax frud from the IRS

Said they were from the IRS and that I had a tax fraud case filed aganist me

I got this call just 2 minutes ago and they said the same thing ... By officer Franklin

Received call from 202-864-1398 Benjamin Franklin.  Said I was being investigated for tax evasion.

SCAM CALL! 202 864 1398. "Officer Benjamin Franklin, if the IRS". Person of foreign accent called and said he was from the IRS and there is a warrant out for "my name" for tax evasion. They are in the process of issuing an arrest warrant to seize 'all of your stuff, all of it'.  FIRSTLY, the IRS does not call, they send a registered letter. If you have any calls like this and you are uncertain, please call the IRS directly. These calls are coming from a 'magicjack' phone system and these callers are not in the USA.

Called stating he was with the IRS and there was going to be a warrant issued for my arrest in regards to tax fraud.

SCAM!!!! I just got the same call from Benjamin Franklin (really could you be more creative). He said that he is going to take all my stuff and that a warrant is out for my arrest. Seriously people re so lame! Go find a real job!!!

I have received this same call three times in the last 2 days; I have not answered but the voice mails left indicate the same as above:  Officer Franklin Benjamin from the tax audit department of the Internal Revenue Service.  Thick accent, not easy to understand.  Saying they have received complaints that I am guilty of illegal tax evasion & tax fraud and they are about to issue a warrant for my arrest and place a lien on my property, but before they "go ahead & do that" I should call for more information.  Then at the end of the call he gets his own name wrong & calls himself Officer Franklin (instead of officer Benjamin).
