I got a phone message from (202)870-5133 a Verizon wireless phone. From a person calling himself Officer Daniel Wiseman from the Internal Revenue Service claiming that a criminal case has been filed against my name and I needed to call him right of way. He left other intimidating statement. He left his direct # (202)754-9727, couldn’t get info on this phone #.

I received the same message from the same caller.   No info found on this number also.   Sounded like an automated dialer.

I got the same message.  My phone has been blown up since I tried to enter a contest to win a new modular home.  I work nights and this call came in awakening me.

I have also received multiple calls from this number leaving two voicemails that does not sound like a human and is an automated caller. The voicemails say, "This is in reference to a criminal lawsuit filed against you. Your case number is -- The moment you receive this message I need you to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. The hotline to my desk 202 754 9727. Don't disregard this message and return the call. Now if you don't return the call, and I don't hear from your attorney either. Than the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Goodbye."

I have received that same message twice in 2 days.

I keep receiving this phone calls about a legal matter with the IRS for officer Daniel Wiseman.

It is a scam.

Disregard it. It is a scam to have you provide your bank account and credit card info. They got your information from websites that you may have given personal information on.  It is a middle eastern guy. I called useing spoof card and asked for his badge #. He made up one then cussed me out and disconnected. Lol. He is rude. In a few weeks the number will no longer be active. Be prepared for other similar calls. You can report this on the irs.gov website.

Disregard it. I had to save the number in my contacts and send all calls straight to voicemail.

The IRS will send correspondence, not call you. I know from experience.

I just received call saying they're from the IRS... It's a scam. The IRS would notify you in writing...
