Can't figure out why they would keep calling after all this time.  Using different numbers and names won't change the fact that most of us are not going to answer their calls.  It can be "Private Caller," "Unavailable," "Unknown," or one of the variations of "Am Inst Cancer,"  we're not going to answer.  Seems like they wouldn't want to tie up their resources on phones that haven't answered.

Surely it can't be that the intent is to harass.  I think they have no clue who's responding or not and just let the automatic dialers run.  Whatever it is, I'm not answering numbers I don't recognize.

I don't wish them any bad luck.  Well, yes, I guess I do.

American Institute Cancer Research guys must have a LOT of phone no's.  I keep adding their phone no's to my blocker on my phone, and the next day they call from a different no.  I'm curious to see how many phone no's they own.

'Am Inst Cancer;?  What kind of name is that?  Scam of course.  I'm getting more calls now from 'Anonymous', Private Caller', 'Unknown' that have no number listed.

Again.  Third # in last few days from this group.  Since they never leave a message, I've taken to lifting the receiver and replacing it, just to stop the ringing.

I would like to report who keeps calling me from this phone number.  My suspicion is the American Cancer Society or some affiliation.  I would also like some feedback as to who this is.

I agree with you.  Since I have been contributing to the American Cancer Society, I have been getting almost monthly mail requesting more money and also phone call from them.
They have passed my name on to other charities because since I started sending to them, I have gotten mail money requests from almost every charity.  It they can't accept my charity once an year without harrassing me, I no longer want to give moeny to them.

These people go my phone number from the American Diabetes Association, who sold my personal information to dozens of disreputable companies after I registered for an expo last month. The caller always hangs up without saying anything. Calls come in before 8AM, weekdays, weekends, and after 10PM. I've see other posts that claim these calls originate in Egypt. 202-870-5859 according to AT&T it is also a wireless number, meaning it has to be dialed on purpose for the phone to call you.. it is not an automatic dialer system it is someone calling you on purpose. It doesn't matter to them if you are on a do not call list. Who wants to begin a law suit against them for violating this list? Me.

I just got a phone call from 202-870-5859 and I didn't answer.  I NEVER contribute to any organization that solicits contributions from me by phone or by mail.  I volunteer with a nonprofit that raises funds through fundraising events and direct contributions.  Organizations that raise monies through phone calls and mailings make very little money from them and manage to hurt ALL nonprofits.  Be careful in giving money to any organization  you are not sure of.  People use look alike names or ones that are similar to legitimate nonprofits.  What jerks they are!

These scammers calling me with different 202 cell numbers. I asked them several times to stop calling but they keep harassing me. I am registered on Do-Not-Call list which is another gov failure. It is a fake

I am also filing complaints on the do-not call site and FBI web site. I suggest the same to get those that are on taxpaid salaries off their [***] and do somethng about it.

First of all shame on you for using cancer or any other name to sucker people into giving money to you jerks.  I urge anyone who is willing to help charities to do some homework before giving to them.  I know there are legitimate cancer organizations out there and these [***] are giving them a bad name and aren't helping them to get the money they truly need.  This supposed charity used 4 different numbers in the last three days to call me and I'm not going to answer these (or any other) numbers I don't recognize.

At last count the number was 75.

Just received the fifth call from this number.  I have never answered and will not in the future.  It is very annoying.  What is the purpose of registering on Do Not Call list, if we continue to get these types of calls????

Calls, leaves no msg, does not answer on pick-up and no one answers on call back. Caller ID shows all "0's. Also. appears to be rotating numbers as there have been many with different "so-called names" but all using only "0's" in the number.
