Keep getting calls from this number over the last 3 weeks...caller id states  DC Pol Action

I get message everyday, sometimes twice. On id it says "Dist of Columbi"  I am not in DC I am in MN.

Tried calling back, went to answering machine saying "all lines are busy now please try your call again later."

Getting same. 2 per day also from MN

I won't answer the phone and they won't leave a message. Strange!

leaves no message, sorry i can't identify caller i won't answer.

i just want them to quit bothering.

I also keep getting calls they do not leave a message either i live in PA

And now they're calling Colorado

On my caller ID it comes up Cellular Call. They don't leave a message.

First call yesterday at 12 noon didn't answer and they left no message. Second call today at 10:45 am and I answered but they wouldn't speak.

Some sort of "Energy Action Committee."  They're calling me every morning before 7.  I picked up today at 9:30 and told them to remove me from their list.

Of course, if it's a poll, they don't have to.

Sara, they do have to respect time zones.  They are not allowed to call before 8 am or after 9 pm.  You can report them to the state AG's office (not like they will do anything).

I just started to get calls everyday from this #, while I'm in meetings.  One day I will be free and answer.  I'm in CO on both State & Fed do not call list.

Call from D.C. does not leave a message. Probably political campaign call. Caller I.D. is one of the great inventions of the 20th Century.

Wish all this would stop. Tried calling back and got "This mail box is full. Try again later." I hate campaign years!!!

Received a call this morning from DC Poll Action with this same number. The gal asked me what I thought of Harry Reid's energy policy ( or energy growth not sure as she spoke so quickly ) and when I asked who was asking she abruptly said have a nice day and hung up. Weird. I'm in Las Vegas.

This is a scam on the part of the cell phone companies to raise rates: Every time they call you they charge YOU for the call. They should have the same rules as landline companies: the caller gets charges not the recipient. Congress could fix this if they wanted.

that number just called my parents in WV and the caller id read DC Pol. and i live in dc and my parents were worried sick that i was in a car crash! I hate that no matter what you have no power to get people to quit calling you besides being unlisted.
