I got a threat from a David White stating he was from IRS Legal Dept.  I am totally unaware of who this is and what it relates.  When I try to call number back it does not ring.  Caller ID says unknown.

I just received a call from the same person who threaten me and called me out of my name.

I've been receiving calls from this number atleast once week for the past month. Have had to block similar scams through phone provider before.   They were asking for attorneys name. Saying I have lawsuit against me from IRS. After u don't cooperate they threaten u with being arrested and 3 years in jail. Their phishing, trying to get u to send money to settle. Lame scam. The only unsettling part was they had last four or social and my previous address. Filed complaints with ftc.gov and bbb

got a similar call saying they are irs , the online postings helped me see that they are fraud callers , thanks for posting

Today I've received the same IRS scam phone call that I have a lawsuit case,That was the most stupid scam that I've ever heard of with the very strong accent.They introduce themselves as officer Alex watson and David White.

Same call same number today 2 gents - "Alex Watson" and "Michael Williams"

Left 2 voice messages saying GOD HELP ME if I don't return their calls 3 years , same scam same story.

Yelled at me very rude, hang ups etc wanting payment in full or again..."god help me".

I just received the same call from the same number where are they getting personal information, im glad I read this post before I freaked out. Im pretty sure if the irs wanted to get in touch with someone it wouldn't be from them

These people called me and had my ssn number i've filed a case with the IRS, they threatened an are very nasty. I chose to hang up on them. I've closed all my accounts including my bank, There were inquiries for lines of credit applied for which was not pursued by myself. It shows the same number as listed above. 202.888.3262 they left multiple voicemails very obnoxious and rude. Whether these names are real or note hopefully with enough complaints there will be some action taken against these people.

These guys are ridiculous. I wish I knew where they were.

Just received a call, but the caller ID was from a town a couple hours away.  It wasn't a live person.  It was a recorded voice saying that the IRS was suing me and that I needed to contact them at this number.
