It is definitely a scam. They told me I owe taxes when in fact I got taxes back because I was a full time student and I worked. A person with a heavy Indian accent told me his name was Kevin Smith. Really?

Received a threating message from this phone number saying there was a law suite against me. I know this is not true. I returned the call to find it is not a working number.

It sounded like a text to talk garbled message, needed my lawyer info, said it was very time sensitive and not to  disregard this call.  Threatening message.  I stupidly called #, said it was long distance & I tried again, no answer, I happen to have a personal issue going on so I thought it could have been a legitimate message, I was briefly fooled.  Do not call number, erase message!

A threatening message saying something like: The moment you receive this message... If you don't return this call, the situation totally falls on you.

The number they called from was the same as the one they wanted me to call them back at.
I did not return the call, and I blocked it.

They phoned today just before noon. They would not leave a message. I don't know anyone in Washington, DC.

States there is a law suite against me.  I did not call, I looked up phone number and realize is a scam. If a law suite against them count me in.

Received a recorded message saying that they were the IRS and that there is a lawsuit filed against (gave me a case #) me and that myself or my attorney should return the call.  If we did not,  then it would fall on me.   Really?  I haven't owed the IRS in 16 years.

Computer generated or altered female voice stating a criminal action is pending against me and gave case # CH79295.  I or my lawyer should call immediately.  otherwise, she wished me 'A Good Luck"?

I got a voicemail saying that there was a criminal record against me. I called back and they identified themselves as IRS and asked me my case number and nphone number. I just hung up since I went through these threads. Hope they don't call again. It's really creepy.

I got same message, also case number CH76295.  I did not call back.

I received a call regarding a lawsuit sounds like a prank.

This call should be classified as Domestic Terrorism.

I just received the call to my work number of all places. Yes, I was fooled and my heart is still beating pretty fast. I called, an Indian sounding man answered and asked for my first and last name. I gave it to him then the phone hung up. I hope they can't steal my identity with my work # and name...?
