Received several calls - never voice message

Bogus call.  Never voice message

keep getting calls from this number. when I answer no one says anything so I say Im going to report them to the police and the phone hangs up.

Got a call from a very similar number about a month ago... it was someone who was part of that IRS scam, and unfortunately I fell for it, as because I wasn't aware it was a scam going around. Now a month later the repetitive calls are starting again, almost identical number.

This is a FINANCIAL SCAM! A recorded voice pretends to be from the IRS and threaten that your case is being "escalated". They tell you to press 1 for how to avoid IRS coming after you. Even if you have dealings with IRS, you will NEVER get this kind of call from them. Hang up and do not press 1!!!

I got the same call yesterday and it's from a company that states I was being audited from the IRS. They are trying to get money from people. I called the IRS and they are not auditing.  They also gave me really good advice,  the IRS will never call and threaten you, and they don't call for audits.  I'm reporting the number and I have blocked on my phone.

I'm definitely not a big gov'y guy, but man, would i like to see some harsh penalties for using no trace, robo-dialed calls. Including campaign calls. they are the worst. Don't answer this one, BTW. Junk.
