The guy was rude, asking me about my electric bill and tried to get me to log on and access my account. This was about 15 minutes ago (4:30pm)EST.

I tried to call back, but after being on hold for 15 minutes, it finally came back with a message that said goodbye.

The beginning of the month I have been getting a call from this number almost everyday. Annoying!!!!!  Definitely a scam but think about it, in this day and age isn't almost everyone who calls soliciting a service on the phone a scammer?????

Scammer. Male stated he was calling form Clear View asked if I review the notice in my CL&P bill. Well since we have UI I told him no. He start with a pitch about saving money on my monthly bill and he would wait till I got a copy of my bill. Told him I wasn't interested. He question me about not wanting to save money on my bill. I reassued him i was not and he hung Up....Who doesn't what to save money on a bill. Was just having some fun.

I also received a phone call from this number wanted my acct # from my electric bill.

robo-caller -  20+ calls that dont even roll to a message or live caller - just dead air!

I received a call from this number July 26 at noon.  I answered it and the caller hung up.  If this is a scam (see above comments) he's probably checking what time I am home so he can call back and bother me another day.  I know not to answer a call from this number again.

Called me as well. I let my phone filter take the call and hang up on the schmuck.

If they have to call me to sell it, I don't want it.

Now these folks know what time I'm home.  So I received another call today (July 27) at 10:45 a.m.  This time I didn't answer and there was no voice mail left.  I guess I can expect a daily call around this time of day.  Maybe their robocaller will get tired of me not answering over time.

This number keeps on calling my 91 year old father who has UI and who's providers has been switched, more than once, without his knowing.

Caller babbling about my electric bill, claiming I have a variable rate (I don't) and they can offer free savings... funny, she then had to ask who my electric provider was. I refused to give her any information and hung up.

Scam.

This number keeps calling us every day at least twice, and it started this week. We haven't answered it and it doesn't leave a message. We tried calling the number and kept getting  a busy signal, we then tried to search who owns the number on the internet, all we got was places who wanted us to buy the information. Thanks to this blog we now know it is a nuisance, thanks everyone.

I received another call today (July 31) at 3:45 p.m. from these people.  Again I didn't answer and again there was no voice mail.  If their robocaller wants to waste time dialing me as often as it does, so be it.

I didn't hear anyone for awhile, and then I got a computer voice that said "Good bye"

received 1 call from this number today  one hour apart   on each of our home phone numbers. I let the 1st call go to my answering machine and answered the second call.  Female stated she was caling regarding the insert we got in our electric bill.  I told her we are on the national do not call list and to stop harassing us.  Also told her we were reporting her to our local police dept.  They have called in the past and obviously   don't understand stop harassing us.

These "smarties" keep calling me every day in the morning.  I already remember their phone number and wish they wood start talking to me. I would tell them a few strong words. But they do not talk, just call to annoy me.  I would hate to deal with these indecent company. I am afraid that they would come up with e-mails as well.  If they continue doing this type of "contacts", I will report to the FBI.

They keep calling and the few times I decide to pick up they dont' say a word.

Same deal. Got a call from ClearView and they asked me all the questions previously posted. Then I asked them why the number caller ID was UNKNOWN they said we don't know. Then they asked me to verify my account number, but when I asked THEM to verify my account number first to prove who they where I was transferred to a manager who started the same speal about wouldn't I want to save money. I told them repeatedly I wasn't interested and they kept on talking. I finally just said Have A Nice Day and hung up.

I get this call every day on both my home and business lines. I've never answered it and they've never left a message. What is it about the DO NOT CALL list that these people do not understand?
