Looking for a $25 donation for Troopers - Did not identify him self as being part of the AL Troopers, or anything, just said about getting the decal and then providing the donation. Not sure if this is a real company or not,

Claimed to represent the "National Police and Trooper Association." Quick Google search doesn't list anything meaningful on the first page. My father and uncle are both police officers, so I'm aware that there are many such scams that claim to raise money for firefighters and police officers. If they refuse to send you any information about the association without a promise of donation from you, consider it a big red flag. Previous such phone encounters have resulted in just that.

Called left no message on answering machine.  Annoying!!!!!

Keeps calling several times a day but never leaves a message.

Got same call no message left.  Called at 7:44 p.m.

My phone rang, the caller ID said "Unknown Name 205-264-1204" : I answered and the call went to dial tone without a word

Found the number on Caller ID and it went to voicemail claiming it was Mega Millions International.  It said if I won over 10 million dollars you had to leave your name and number and they would surely get back to you.  It then goes to a mail box that can't accept anymore messages.  Of course it is a foreign speaker.  

called, and asked to speak to the manager. as i am the manager, they hung up. i called back (thinking this was a client) and got a magic jack voice mail, and said the message was full.

I do not and do not want to participate in their efforts..Believe it to be a scam, since most police officers know nothing about this

Did not answer. FYI, if they say it is representing the AL troopers, they may well be. Different associations use this type of fundraising. A company will offer to do the fundraising for free and keep a certain percentage of the funds (normally a good amount). The associations look at it as extra income for free. (I know this because I was in one of this type association (police union) and when one of the members complained about the telemarketing "representing" us, this was the explanation given.

They are doing it again in 2014.  This is a scam.  

They just called me....how dumb are people?

I answered and it was a female saying she was with the Breast Cancer Foundation and started into her script I hung up.  I called the # back and the Magic Jack voice recording came on. Scam BLOCK this #.

They gave me the same story.

Same story about Breast cancer foundation. Asked me how much money I want to donate and said she could accept any type of payment. It's a red flag. I asked her to mail it to me and so I can send my check in the return envelope. I want to see if it's true or a fraud. But I really feel that it must be a scam.

Called claiming to be from Breast Cancer Research Foundation. She started in about my past donations and she would love to send me a packet of stuff if I just donated again. Told her that I had never donated to this organization before and she quickly replied that they're new to the area. Scam!!

Told me she was wanting a donation to help people with breast cancer. Same callers all the time same scam.

This is a magic jack scam-1-29-14. They didn't leave a message. I hope they call back I will keep them on the phone for a long time!
