Just received a call from 205-282-4169. Answered it and it immediately disconnected.

Got a call. Did not answer. Left no message.

Keep getting calls from this number, If my machine picks up no message is left. I picked up the call twice and a gentleman said he was calling from the VFW Veteran's association, he then proceeded to ask for donations. I am a veteran and I'm a member of a VFW any correspondence I receive from them is through regular mail. If I'm going to give any money away it would be in person. There are so many scammers out there preying on the good natured individuals.

I received a call. They claim to be fundraisers from the American Veterans Support Foundation.  They are very persistent in trying to get you donate. They appear legitimate at first passing you on to a verifier for the amount and your address. When I called the number back to very the organization name, A man answered, said hello, then put on a recording soliciting a donation, 2 seconds into the recording the line disconnected. They are not getting a dime of my money. Do not fall for this. I'm all for supporting out Veterans, but not through this agency.
