The idiots just called.  How do these people make any money owning 200+ phone numbers?  The phone bill alone must be astronomical!  

I'm sure the idiots have a contract with the phone company. Either way, if they can afford this many numbers, they can afford to research and locate the correct person they're trying to contact.

Never answered so don't know who it is if anyone knows who they are please let me know thanks.

They don't have numerous numbers - they use a VOIP system with per-programmed ID numbers to make it look like it comes from all over the country.  These slugs are 3 degrees lower than ambulance chasers.  If you have a debt that can't be collected, these scum bags try to convince you that you still owe it.  Dirt bags with dial tone.

&  99.9%  of  the  time,  they  are  calling  for  the  *wrong*  person/persons .....Beware!  a  call  from  205-396-3619  is

a  debt  collection  scam ~ They  are  *phishing*  for  info  --AND--  using  *scare  tactics*  to  get  money  from  you ~

They have called me twice today. It is Mother's Day. Really?! They contacted my ex (the divorce was final in '94 and we are not exactly friends). I have no idea how they connected me to him, or how they got his number.

What I did was called them back and told them I was from Florida power and light and I would like to know if they had any trouble with their power. They said that they did not call us and how did we get their number. I told them that it is on our records and we will be calling back soon to let them know when we.will be turning on the power soon. I did this a few times in a row, and they wanted.me to speak to their boss so I hungrily On them. If I get another call I am goin to do it SOMEMORE.
