calls all the time and leaves no message - blocked on my phone so don't know why they keep calling

Same here. Got a call. My daughter asked for a name, and caller said it was "Mark." By the time I got to the phone, he had hung up...

My son answered and the caller asked for Mrs (Our last NAME). My son told them that they could speak to Mr (last name) and then handed me the phone. When I answered, they hung up the phone without saying anything.

Very annoying calls all night long. Never says anything when I answer they hang up.

We too started getting calls from this number.  Never would say anything.  I started trying to research the number.  The phone number is a landline.  The carrier information is US Lec of Alabama, Inc.  This particular number, (205)-917-5649, according to info in the internet is located in Birmingham.  The latitude and longitude show the address as 710 20th Street N., Birmingham, AL 35203.  Just in the last couple of days we have started getting the same type calls but from a new number.  It is still issued by the same company, but the new number is (205)-917-5673.  This number shows the same longitute and latitude as the other number.  Hope this helps someone.

Thanks, Kitty! Your information was extremely helpful. After viewing your reply, I did my own research and found that this is a telecommunications company. Apparently, they are soliciting new customers for their services. I feel this is a direct violation of the Do Not Call Registry as blocking unwanted solicitors from calling is the main reason for using it. I just thought I would pass my own information along in case it may help others as well.
