called 3 times early AM. caller id show ""OUT of area 1-205-967-5398"". I wonn't answer any phone# that I don't know. so annoying!!

I am tired of asking you to stop bothering me, by calling my home phone ..and then when I pick up, there's that screeching fax noise. When I reversed the call there is a message that this number is discontinued.
How would you like someone to do this to you?

annoying repeated fax call to a private residential land line .. ALABAMA CALL .. annoying because I don't know who to call to ask them to stop

This is a fax that comes at all hours and is nothing I want.  Why can't we get this stopped???

Because you did not bother to read posts prior to your own.      The number to get it stopped is clearly posted.

Just called the 888 341 5000 number and it took about 8 minutes but she told me I was unsubscribed.  Would take 'possibly' 6 weeks to opt out of phone calls an somewhat longer for usp mail deliver to stop.  This would be good for 5 years.  I thought when you opted out it was for all time unless you contacted them again.

this number is a fax and has been for ever calling at any hours of night or day, some times at 3 or 4 in the morning and a wake up thinking that is an emergency. how can I let this people know they are faxing to the wrong number? can any one help please.

Calls from this fax machine almost daily and at ridiculous hours - we've had to mute our phone to stop from disturbing our sleeping children.....not particularly helpful if someone wants to get hold of us in an emergency!

Now Bank of America just lets the unsubscribe number ring.  No one picked up after I pressed the correct prompt button.  There's just a recording telling the caller to update their privacy setting on their website - www.bankofamerica.com/privacy

Just finished the online opt-out.  They ask for a lot of information but then you can tick the opt-out boxes for every phone number they call, every e-mail, every snail mail address.  Now let's see if they honor this.  I am not even their customer and they fax me all the time.  As others have said, this is incredibly annoying.  And this is just one company!  I also installed a free app called "Ghostery" which doesn't let ad crawlers send targeted ads; you still get ads, but not targeted ones because they are blocked from seeing which web sites you visit or search.

I called AT&T.  I worked for them for 18 years, they are the local telco for 205-967-5398.

Their SR was very helpful.  As of today, 01/15/15, that's a disconnected number.  A phisher. So...not much you can do...block it maybe. It's called me 3x  11/20/14, 12/15/14 and today 01/15/15.  It tries to fax me.  Ah well...some folks have
a lot of time on their hands.  Y'all be well
