Keep getting calls that hang up before answering.

no msg and no caller ooa caller id when call back always busy

I Re-signed-up yesterday on the dnc list formy land line and cell but it has not stoped these jerks

Called 7 days ago and didn't leave a message. Called again today and no one was there then a very short 3 or 4 word message was played that I didn't hear.

My number has long been on the Do Not Call list.

This number is being reported and entered into my block list.

Supposedly ADT giving you a free security system.  The call comes from Birmingham Alabama, Riverchase exchange (used to work for Ma Bell) and from the sound quality, it's a very busy telemarketer call center.  Like ANYONE should accept a free security system from ANYBODY.  Can you say "Permission to break into my house?"

I just got off the phone with ADT (sent an email also).  I hope they send this phone number up the chain of command to stop the calls.  I don't know if these are ADT condoned calls but maybe they can stop them.  I told the very nice customer service person that these calls are giving ADT a bad name.  If I decided to switch security systems, at this point, I would not consider calling them (unless these phone calls stop).

Received a call about 2 hrs earlier from BK Agencie 407-608-5574 recording my hello, then hung up.  Fast forward two hours, received a call from 205-983-6396 which I did not answer and they didn't leave a message.  Sure they are in on this plot to drive me crazy together.  Blast these people FCC, government, whoever!!!!

206 983 6396. They called, I did not answer, no message left, and when I called back they said sorry "Militalk" does not accept incoming calls. Oh really? They are now call blocked on my phone. The phone will ring once as it checks the number and then hangs up on them, I always smile when I hear that now.

I now have over 20 numbers blocked and the phone still rings, all day long.  We are on the do Not Call list and always have been, I just re-registered a week and a half ago. We get called all day long several dozen times a day by a variety of telemarketers, researchers, politicians, and flat out panhandlers, looking for a hand out or an opinion on something. (I certainly have an opinion) FCC says you have to register every month then give it a week to kick in. Its been a week and a half and I am still being called. That tells me two things, (1) telemarketers are ignoring the do not call list, (2) the FCC is not doing its job. Its really gotten ridiculous.

Until the FCC cracks down on these nuisance calls, ( which I don't think they can considering the volume of calls), all I can do is keep adding to my call blocking list. If you don't have a phone that will do that I would suggest you get one because this just seems to be getting worse.

Read up on the Telelphone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. 227) and sue them in your small claims court.

205-983-6396 - they always call asking for Ms. Butler.  I do not know a Ms. Butler.  I've asked them to stop calling.  Last time they said it was not telemarketing and they used to cut the lawn for Ms. Butler and she must have changed her number.  They promised not to call back.  5 days later - and they are calling again.  When I pointed out the last call said it would stop and I would report it - they hung up.  I don't think the "lawn" discussion is legitimate as I've seen other complaints that indicate they say they are with ADT.  They are clearly liars (said they would stop calling and do not appear to  have a legitimate company - alarms or landscape?....hmmmm).
