I got a call from Tony Thompson.

Got this message on my voice mail at home:

"You about a lawsuit which has been filed on your name so before we go with legal matter and send this case to the local county court house kindly call us back on our number which is 206-237-0030. I repeat it's 206-237-0030. Thank you and goodbye."

Didn't call them back.  Pretty sure if I'm involved in a lawsuit in any manner a certified letter is the required form of communication.

Yeah, I got the same call twice already.  Is there anyway to shut this guy up?

Just got the same call. What a joke. Must be another foreign scammer.

Got a message from same number claiming to be from the IRS. Claim filed against my wife and need to call him back before it goes to court.

Middle Eastern Accent saying its the IRS and I am going to jail.

Caller claimed to be from the "tax audit department of IRS" and that I needed to call immediately before a lawsuit went to the "federal claims" I should call immediately

Just got a call saying they were from some department in the irs. I couldn't understand fully. Something about fraud and the federal court of claims. Guessing its a scam.

Got a message today from a middle eastern speaking gentleman. I called back and just like others. This guy sounded real good and convincing. He tried to tell me that I had intentionally cheated the IRS and would be spending time in jail if I did not make arrangements to repay. Just like others, he didn't want to listen at me talk, just wanted to be argumentative. I finally told him to send the papers and the sheriff. He then hung up!

i called them back guy ask me when i got the phone call i get socail security told him that he hung up on me i called him back 3 times he hung up on me then it went to this number is no longer in service its a scam

I received a message fro this number on 4/14/15, a middle eastern man with a strong accent left a message regarding tax fraud. I decided to call the number back the number, 2062370030, got another gentleman on the line, identified himself as Officer Jeff Mugan, ID#1879, he continued to tell me about my tax fraud and how I need to make payments immediately to avoid jail. He also told me that in 45 minutes the county sheriff's department would be knocking at the door with a warrant for my arrest. He gave me a confirmation number of CFI150781. After he would not listen to me, I decided to tell him to send the sherrifs and anyone else he would like to send. One thing I will say, if you are gullable, they will get you

I got the same call. The guy said he was with a law office for the irs and I cheated on my taxes. I asked him if he learned his English from the irs and he asked if I was getting hostile with him and I said sure am. He hung up and haven't heard from him since.

I'm on their list, don't call them back, or you will be too.  Dozens of calls from dozens of numbers, but they have my name wrong, so it's easy to tell when they are one of the scammers.  And it's my company paid for phone they're calling. so they don't realize how stupid they are, but if they want to waste their time calling me, that's fine, I just keep blocking each new phone number they try with me.

Asking to call back and speak to a federal agent.

I just got the same voicemail message today. Totally ridiculous!!

Received a voicemail on my cell phone saying that in order to avoid Federal Criminal charges that I needed to call back immediately. When I called the number a man with a very thick accent answered and listed some of the charges that I faced due to tax evasion. When I argued and said that I had never received any written documentation they insisted that if I didn't want this to go to court that I had to pay $1,273.00. I asked for them to verify my address and they did "scary" and then I asked them to provide the last four of my social which of course they could not. I hung up and reported them to the FBI www.ic3.gov. Please do the same if you receive a call from this number.

Got a message form this number saying I owe $1273.00 for tax audit from 2009- 2014. I asked the dude what about from 1993 - 2012 ? He goes what ? I said yeah , I was in prison then so I couldn't of filled in 2009, he asked me what I was in prison for, told him first degree murder , he asked me why I did it and I told him because they pissed me off, then he hung up the phone.
