Regarding a Craig's list ad, sounds pretty fishy...

I placed an add on craigslist as well. I received the same reply. The number is in Washington. Anyway something did not feel right so I placed a few more ads on craigslist  to see what would happen and the replies came immediately.
Someone is sick in the head

I'm in the Houston area - got the same thing on my Craigslist ad!  Told them I would only accept PayPal & ship or local pick up with cash

Same problem here with ad on Craigslist.  He/she goes by: honey cole [honeyc50@gmail.com]. 2 emails 2 days apart.  below are both.
Beware, probably Nigerian with contacts this side of the ocean.....

Do not give your name address phone both land and cell. sounds to me like a burgular who knows your were abouts.....

mine is probably worse becuase i placed my resume on craigslist becuase i needed some money to take classes over the summer and apprently he emailed me with a new email address but with the same number.

craigs list scam...im in michigan

This is a number used by scammers.  Period.  No ifs, ands, or buts.  If you see this number, do not respond, but report the email account to gmail or yahoo.

I received a similar email regarding an air conditioner we were selling for $250. Then we received a check by Federal Express for $2000. Don't know what to do.

I received the same email from Tonnyadams@gmail.com. Unfortunately I passed my information, I hope there is nothing they can do with it. :( Don't fall for the scam, if they offer a shipper it is a scam no doubt.
