- jayde(206) 397-1109 called, after 1 ring the phone hung up. Woke me. No message and no indication of who they are.
- Clint| 1 replyI just got a call from the. It is about lowering your interest rates on your credit card. A machine prompts you to press 1 to talk with a representative to lower your interest rate. I pressed one and immediately a man was on the other line and asked "Did you press 1 to lower your interest rates?" I replied that I had pressed 1 for them to remove me from their calling list. The man then hung up immediately.
- KenGot a call from this number around 4:30pm. There was no party on the line. When returning a call to that number it is an interrupted message and hangs up.
- Caller: No Company listed
- EboGot a call from them today. The 206 area code is Washington. I ignored the call, they left no message. I called back the first time and the call disconnected. However the second time I got a recording telling me if I am not interested in hearing any of their promotions to press 1 to be removed from the call list but to allow up to 72 hours. Sorry thought they did not say the name of their company.
- MaThis company is a scam!!! Do not give them any credit card or personal information.
- annoyedGo to a Job Fair!!!

- Stuntkites replies to ClintI have been receiving the same response repeatedly. I am now reporting it to DoNotCall.gov.

- Caller: 206-397-1109
- Ron GoodwinI don't know, they hung up.
- BJ Linton| 1 replyWhen they call - go to https://www.donotcall.gov/ and make sure you in the Do Not Call Registry. Once you have been enrolled for 31 days - the next time they call go back to https://www.donotcall.gov/ and press 'File a Complaint'. The last person I talked to at the offending site said the company name was '5 Member Services'.
- JMYCalled but left no msg. There was no company name just seattle washington & a phone #. I do not answer calls if I do not know you.
- jill scott
- Jason| 1 replyThey called again today. I've pressed 3 to unsubscribe, I've pressed 1 to politely ask to be unsubscribed, I've pressed 1 to rip into somebody about why I'm not unsubscribed yet, & I've also pressed 1 to ask for a manager... funny the line always drops.
Today, I pressed 1 & got Melissa on the phone, I pretended to be an eager customer waiting to reduce my credit card debts as this was my "second & final warning" for the countless time in the past couple months. She was courteous & before I started shouting out my credit card information & social security information that she was asking for, I simply stated that before I give any of that information to you over the phone, I would like to do some research on my own time, she pulled back. "What information would you like sir?" I said "let's start with a company name"
Card Member Services (pretty generic) ... She said they do not have a website for non-registered members, but ironically www.cardmemberservices.com does match up with her pitch & schpeel.
She explained they are located just north of the Los Angeles area.
I asked a couple other questions which I got very remedial/vanilla answers to & then she started to push about getting my first card entered as it was getting "late in her day". If she is in CA, 2:45 should not be late in anyone's day considering they call my phone until 9pm.
After a couple attempts by Melissa to bring a 3rd party on the line to get started on reducing my credit card debt (I actually don't have any), I interrupted her & again stated I would like to do some more research & that I am not comfortable divulging my credit card info over the phone to a company I know nothing about. Again I asked if there was any place online I could research her organization as even my local dog kennel has a website.
A few seconds passed while she pretended to think hard about something she could give out & then I broke silence with
..."Quite honestly Melissa, you have given me all the information I had hoped for, I have no credit card debt & just needed your company name so I could pursue getting my damn number removed from your calling list so you stop calling me."
She was instantly pissed (I guess I would be too), but tried to maintain her composure & tried explaining they only call once a month... that was the 3rd time their system called me today, just like every two days (records to prove it) & it better be the last.- Caller: Card Member Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Laura replies to TracyEvidently I talked to the same guy, He said I had better want to Lower my Interest Rate because I pressed one. I told him I pressed one because I was tired of getting these calls he then went off the chain and it became a yelling match and called me a Creep and hung up. He was very mean and hateful, I would love for him to yell at me like that with my husband standing there within reach of him!
- JasonThey're BACK! I filed an official complaint last month (the night of Nov.1 in fact), ensured my number is actively enrolled on the Do Not Call list (https://www.donotcall.gov/) & they waited 34 days to start the horassing all over again.
It's 3pm, I've received two calls from them today, which means they will inevitably call somewhere between my commute & dinner time.
The company is Card Member Services... it's the exact same automated greeter explaining it's your "second & final warning to reduce credit card debt".- Caller: Card Member Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JasonI have found more information about "Card Member Services". They are a division of First USA Financial, based out of Dallas, TX.

- LanaI received a call from this number yesterday. I guess it's a call claiming to be able to lower my interest rates on my credit cards. Funny thing is, I DON'T HAVE CREDIT CARD DEBT. I have also been getting calls 1-3 times a day from an "unknown" source, though I think it is these people or similiar "companies." I wish they'd stop calling me(or that I could come through my phone-LOL!). It's getting beyond annoying. I just bought this cell phone with this number a few months ago, it would be a shame if I had to change it already!
- Caller: Unknown
- gloriaI have pushed 1 numerous times, as instructed by a recording at this number, to advise them that I do not want to be called, but the calling continues. No id when I call the number back. Just goes to a busy signal if you don't push 1 again. uuurrrrrggggg!

- Rick replies to JasonThe link you provided (www.cardmemberservices.com) is a legitimate site for Chase cardholders. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the scumbags who call with "your final notice" about "lowering your credit card rates."
