I pick up "Unknown Caller 206-397-1111" and get a recorded message about "becuase of new deregulation you can lower your Con Edison electric bill with new Con Edison electrical rates..." so i press 5 as instructed and get some guy that asks me my name.  Instead of telling my name I asked who he was and what company he is from.  He said he is from Spark Energy.  I google Spark Energy and see a boat lots of hits including complaints on consumeraffairs.com, complaintsboard.com, ripoffreport.com, scaminformer.com and on and on... i laugh out loud and tell the guy about it and ask if he ever saw this stuff... and he laughed too and said he was sorry.  And I told him I was sorry he had to work for them and he said "I know"...  too funny!
ps.  I am on the dnc list so these people are clearly a bunch of scammers.

this company called Energy Discount call me 3-4 times a day and don't leave a message. I've called back and asked them to stop calling and nothing helps. Why can't anything be done to stop them??

Got a call from this number, caller i.d. read: Energy Discount. Answered too late to get the call so I called back and heard "If you would like to be removed. . .press 1" which I did.

I am on the do not call list but for the past several weeks have been getting n amazing number of calls like this one.

Yes, we get this call late at night on our NYC VoIP telephone number. Since we're in Switzerland and since we're on the DNC list it's both ludicrous and irritating.

I keep receiving calls from these people offering to lower my energy bills (or without a message).  I want it to stop.

Hello I can tell you how to lower your Con Edison bill. I do nothave an account with Con Ed or any other energy company

Calls from (306) 397-1111 allegedly are from Con Edison, but I am in New York City and the calls are coming from the State of Washington.

I will snail-mail a letter about this to the Attorney General of the State of New York.

I get calls every single day from ENERGY DISCOUNT.  I block every number but the next day ENERGY DISCOUNT has called me again with a new number.  WHO IS THIS AND HOW DO I STOP THESE CALLS.  I WILL call the Attorney General of the State of New York about these jerks.

These jerks calling everyday..robots..Is it legal to play taped messages on a private

I just opened a ConEd account two weeks ago, and they must have sold my personal information already. Ugh.

I have tried really hard to get these people to stop calling me and leaving robot messages. HELP!!!!!

I received a call from this number this morning and the recorded message was "This call is in regards to your home loan..." I do not have a home loan.

Only ID was "Energy Discount".  They continue to call me all the time! I've put them on my do Not Call List several times, but they keep calling.  I guess they just keep changing their phone number.  But now I see they are Spark Energy, so I'll list that on my DNC complaint.  I think a class action suit would be appropriate!

I got a call today from these fools then they hang up. I am also on the Do Not Call List.
They have just mess with the wrong chick because I am contacting everyone who is in a position about this harassing phone calls.

A lot of good complaining to the DNC registry!  They called me again this morning.  I even sent an email to Spark Energy headquarters saying if they don't stop harrassing with their robo calls we'll take a class action suit against them.  Hah!  Unless we all can get together it won't happen, which they probably know.  Scum bags!

I have been getting them almost every day.  I'm sick of having to get up and answer the Phone when m breastfeeding my daughter.  The line is empty when I answer. Got it today at 7:20pm.

Called again this afternoon. Caller ID showed "Unknown Caller", but I see my previous comment here, and other posts that this once again is Energy discount - aka Spark Energy.  I've sent emails and letters to Spark, have put them on the DNC complaint registry, and obviously to no avail.  What can we do??  Where can we go to stop these people?  How about a class action suit??  Anyone??

These people are constantly harassing me on my 718* cell number. I am on the do not call list and I am getting TONS of calls over the last 2 months- more than ever.

Did they finally realize the do-not-call registry means absolutely nothing and is not enforced whatsoever?

These companies NEED to be shut down and SEVERELY fined!!!
