called private home line that's on the do not call list - didn't leave message...

CALLED BUT DIDNT LEAVE A MSG, PROBABLY A TELEMARKETER?

Wanted my credit card number to lower my interest rates. I said absolutely not. She assured me that they didn't have my 3-digit security number on the back, so it was safe. I asked for their website and contact info so I could research their company before making any decisions and they hung up on me.

Called and left no message. Spam phone call.

Called our cell phone today with the same garbage.  On the "Do Not Call List".  If they call again, I will file a report.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone but I never answer them. I'm thinking about answering and telling them to **** right off. Keep your Seattle telemarketing out of Illinois. Kthanks.

where do these people keep finding "fresh" numbers to call us with to try to trick us into answering...

Just got a call from 206.397.1136. ID'd as customer service.  Don't need or want it!!! I know people need jobs, but go retail or something! I DO NOT answer any calls from numbers I do not know. I think that DO NOT CALL list is a joke or a ploy just to GET our phone numbers!!!!!  Okay, I'm done!!!!

Hung up as soon as Ooma answering system started.  Caller ID only has ' ' on display.

The Do Not Call list is only effective for US companies.  Offshore Call Centers using Caller ID spooofing to look like a US company are difficult if not impossible to prosecute.  Given that almost every "operator" I spoke with when I felt like wasting their time had a thick accent, it's almost certain they originate somewhere outside the US where they can't be touched by US authorities.

Get these calls all the time, today however I said "dont f**King call me im on the do not call list and I hung up....they callled (a man) straight back and told me they were coming to my house to kill me.. I am 100% honest on this.....its why I came online to look up the number.

This kind of action should not be tolerated.

I just got a call and was able to trace the provider to Callerid4u.com.  I also found their application and a name and address of the applicant on line.  He didn't like getting a call from me so maybe you should call him too and give him a taste of his own crap.

Same thing JUST happened to me!

got a call-  answer machine picked up-(I'd left message on machine saying ;if your a telemarker please stop calling)    message was left that I'd better "f@($*%$*"  answer or else.  
They called back shortly thereafter left me another message telling me they could call anytime they wanted any day-  and laughed about the do not call list.
