Calls to my cell phone from 206-397-1207, a telemarketing company, are not answered. Most of these types of calls don't leave a message. I won't pay for the call blocking from my provider but I imagine these folks have many, many numbers, so it probably wouldn't do any good regardless.

It is from the Tax Negotiation Center. When the message asks you to speak to an operator, you'll get another recorded message stating "All of our operators are currently helping others, please leave your name and number and someone will return your call shortly". DO NOT leave your name or number as this will only let this company know that this is a valid number so they can keep contacting you.

The best way to resolve this is to file a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry www.donotcall.gov and put as much information as you can into the fields and they will handle it from there. I might be a good idea to tag this number in your contacts as "Sales Call" so you'll know not to answer it.

I think that AT&T is selling my number to telemarketing people and if it continues I will find another service provider.

I have a contract with AT&T for 2 yrs. with limited calls, and it is not fair that AT&T gave my cell phone # to these telemarketing companies to use my time to call or receive calls from my family.  This has to stop.  This is a big inconvenience when I try to use the phone.

Caller Id says "Health Info"  Also calls from 702-520-1418
Here is a tip...Set your phone to ring 6-7 times before it goes to VM.
Do not answer any #'s you do not know.
You will find most of these tele-bot callers stop ringing after 3-4 rings.
After a few weeks you will get almost no calls! Yeah!
The only reason I am getting a few calls again is that my husband thought he could out smart them...Someone told him to answer and press the # sign over and over...Hey, it is a robot calling you...All it is looking for is an active phone!
Also, before you give your # and/or address to any company to do business with insist on being informed of their marketing plans. Always write a note at the bottom of any contract you sign stating you do not want to be contacted-even by them for their "special offers" and get a copy of it.
Ask if they have a 3rd party and/or related companies marketing plan and if so how do you opt out of it. Sometimes, you have to fill out a form.
