It is a company trying to sell home security systems

They were asking if I wanted a free security system installed in exchange for putting a little sign out front advertising their company.

Received a call from this number. I answered by saying "Hello" and the caller hung up.

the # 206-397-1523 wanted to sell a security system and also wanted to put a sign out front. they also wanted to ask questions regarding the ownership of our home. scammmm sscammmm

Received this call on my cell phone just minutes ago. Did not answer and decided to look up the number. No voice mail was left so it couldn't have been important.

206-397-1523 just called my cell phone, I answered and some [removed:lang]said he was "Kevin with Home Security Group" and he was like "how are you today?" I hung up without saying a word.  Just looked it up to see wtf and found this site.  Sounds like a scam, glad I didn't say anything to him!

Got a call on my cell at 9pm 5/19.  Same story as above trying to sell me a home security system in exchange for putting a sign on my lawn.  No idea how he got my number, I've been on the DNC list for 3 years.  I logged their number in the FTC complaint site.

Been getting calls from this # and several like it.  Voicemail says, "thank you for not hanging up, if you are not interested in receiving future calls, please dial 1 now".  When I get to do that, or call them back to do so (as I didn't catch my phone in time), it does no good.  The number still calls and doesn't remove it from their list.  I know how these systems work and should already know pushing 1 won't remove me.  But, I tried.

called on 5/20  at 11:30 am   Identified as a home security company and wanted to know if I was interested in a free system if I would let them put a sign in my front lawn.  I told them that I had 2 mean dogs and that was all the security I needed.  The guy said ok and hung up.

If you call the number back, it says it will put you on their "do not call list" who knows if it works or not but it is worth a try.

He's still doing it.  I reported the number to the do not call complaint form.

Sounds like they'd like to come into your home, case the place -put in a bogus alarm system.  Slap a sticker in your home to identify you to their collegues. And take the stuff you've worked hard to get.

"Hi, this is Kevin from Home Security Group. We're looking for advertisement opportunities in your area, and we were wondering if you'd like a free home security system in exchange for putting a sign in your yard."

uhh. That would be a "no". I'd rather not get a fake system and have you steal my stuff. Besides, why are you calling my cell and not my landline?

Just got a call from this number. It was a recording and i hung up. Has to be a scam!
