Call the number listed & the voice mail prompts you to enter your account number. sounds official.... but I don't have an account here.

Same experience and message.  THIS IS AN IDENTIFY THEFT SCAM!

I reported this to Wells Fargo since I only have a mortgage account with them, not a credit card.  I can easily imagine someone getting caught offguard and giving their credit card number.   Will use the link above to report it to the  FBI.

It's a scam.  Went in to wells fargo, it's a fake number.

Same story- had an additional phone number associated with it- 541 228 4287

Mine just came in.

I called the number with *67 and it hung up.

Same...does it do any good to call wells?

The recording does sound somewhat legit but it is not.  Heh... we do not even have WellsFargo

I got this text message on 9/27 at 7:24pm:  

WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD starting with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. PLEASE contact us at: 206-427-9512.

It was sent from (360) 334-2701.

I reported it to the FCC and the FBI
