This caller has called 2 days in a row.  First day afternoon twice in a row leaving a message on machine then voicemail message on home phone.  Day 2 caller called at 7am again twice in a row.  Leaving no message on machine but leaving voicemail like we were on the phone but we never picked up.  They say using an automated female voice "call this number right away regarding IRS action".
Who are these people?  I'm thinking scammers as I have NOT called the number back.

Just got the same call saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  Definitely a scam.   The IRS does not make phone calls. They will send you a letter if there is any action against you.

recorded female voice on voicemail.  Urgent I call, but nothing says why.  I am sure it must be a scam.

Just had the same call that the IRS has a law suite on me. As a business owner this is very worry some. I called the number back and no answer. I got on line to see how to call back and that is when I found this wed site. so happy other people have reported this as well. I have the same woman voice and it was a recording

Total scam.  Google irs scam warnings.

I received a call from 206-451-3738.  I didn't answer. They left me a voice mail with a computerized woman's voice asking me to call back about my "case file."  Right!  Wish I could block these annoying calls!

Called my trusting 88 year old mother 3 times in one day who doesn't understand scams.  How can the FTC allow this to go on?

Obvious scam.  The IRS initiates communications via mail (also to establish a paper trail).  You may receive a call from them later on, once there is a matter being resolved for such things as scheduling or rescheduling an appointment.  These people are nothing but scammers.

Scam.  Called them back asked for an employee number from the person who answered they hung up.  By the way they called me three time today.  09-Feb-2016

Said IRS is filing a lawsuit against me./

Just received a second call from these people just like everyone above.  I too have a business so I was concerned.  Called back the number and some Indian guy answered who could not speak proper English - asked if I was calling from a landline or cell.  This is an obvious scam and these people are not in the USA. Don't give out any info and report this to the authorities immediately.

Received two (2) calls from this number (206-451-3738) today. Just like everyone else I get a recording telling me to call the IRS due to a lawsuit being filed against me. Complete scam, all IRS numbers are 1-800's. I urge everyone to report this to the IRS at:
