Call and hang up

Just got a same call... A pause than hung up

Keep getting calls.  I don't pick up and they don't leave a message.

they just call and don't say anything.  i wish it would stop

Stop calling my cell phone.

Called...No answer...on the Caller ID, was "BAINBDG IS         WA", which ( I am assuming) is Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA.  Why do people in the telemarketing industry feel they are doing themselves a favor by not leaving a message.  When I was in sales (insurance), I actually made appointments on people's answering machines and it still amazes me how many were at home for that appointment.
    I think that, if you are calling someone, it is just good manners to identify yourself and leave a message.  Silly me...huh?

Folks, the solution to this annoying caller problem is very simple.  There are two things you need.  

1.  Subscribe to your phone company's Caller ID service.  When your phone rings and the Caller ID Indicator is showing a name or number that you do not recognize, do not pick up the phone.  Just let it ring.

2.  Buy yourself a telephone answering machine.  I found a neat one made by AT &T at my local Walmart store for about $15.  It contains a pre-recorded message that says "Hello.  Please leave a message after the tone."  That message is played to the caller after several rings (adjustable) if you do not answer the phone yourself.  I have found that after a couple of weeks of getting only my answering machine, the repeat callers finally give up.

Credit card scammer... these folks keep changing their number... You can add this number to the list of companies that ignores Do Not Call. I found a call blocker a few months ago at http://www.BlockTelemarketers.net that works really well... with the push of a button it permanently blocks any more calls from an unwanted phone number. It's been a godsend, as I think I'm on every phone SPAM list in the world.

call and hung up, 3-4 times a day

They call every day , nobody speak.I called back and I heard "thank you" "good bye"

Got 2 calls from this call center saying that I had requested info about working at home.
Snake Oil salemen are alive and well...they prowl the internet..phishing.
The phone companies allow call centers like this since it is good for business.
What do I have to do? Change my number every day?
