Phone message claimed to be from IRS.  I haven't worked since 2000 when I retired on disability & all taxes paid so must be scam.  Called # and man with Middle east accent answered & I hung up..

I answered the call and it was the same thing. Middle Eastern accent said was from IRS.
Said they were suing me for 9000.00 for tax years 2008-2012. I doubt this we made a mistake
on our 2010 taxes and had to pay more so I doubt this is legitimate.

Phone message claimed to be from the IRS.  I haven't worked since 2005 when I retired on disability & all my taxes paid.  I'm thinking this must be a scam. Goggled the number witch gave me another number witch I called and had them take me off the calling list.

My caller id said the number was 721 442-5667 and when I listen to the message is was a computerized message stating this was the final call that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and said to call 206 462-5425.  Please remember that the IRS does not call people then only send letters.  Everyone beware!

This number has left repeated message from the IRS  warning "final notice and filing suit" (and I know IRS doesn't call you with notices). Middle Eastern guy answered the phone mumbling something about a "Delivery Service". After I repeated the salutation he corrected himself saying, "Yes this is the IRS".  Upon asking, "I thought you just said delivery service?", he replied, "Yes you want delivery? I f*ck you big".

206-462-5425 called my home several times with their big "final notice" claiming to be the IRS and that we owe $600.

Okay, well my last entry just cut out for whatever reason...The point is, the number is a scam. And, they aren't "Middle Eastern", they're Indian...God, learn the differences between the Middle East and India, two entirely different places, with two entirely different accents. Anyway, I reported it to the police and they said not to give out any personal info no matter what they say. And, they will say anything to get that money from you, whether it's deportation, prison time or large fines...And, as a word of advice, don't handle transactions with unknown people you've never met or seen before.

Just received m first call from this number and stated they are the IRS final notice that they are suing me. I tired t call the number back many times and all it does is ring. No answer

206 (Seattle area code) Automated messege said this is IRS suing and tax lien being filed. Call number back and get recorded messege to leave name and phone number. SCAM Call Hope they get busted!

left a message saying it was from the Internal Revenue Service and they were suing me.

Message from 206-462-5425...being sued by the IRS. Same deal. The IRS to my understanding does not sue. Would need an official letter first about taxes owed, etc, and then it goes to proceedings. Message is outrageous.

Last week they called at 6:30 a.m. so I wasnt thinking clearly, and from a different number.  It is indeed a scam.  Not the IRS.  The use an auto dialer so when I didnt fall for it the first time I got a message with this 206 number and the exact same call.  I was unaware the IRS would not call you, and I knew better than to believe I was audited and made any mistake on my taxes unless there was an error in the software I have used.  There was an internet article on it, and listed on official IRS website under dirty dozen scam.  They have gotten over 15 mil. from people and 1/2 mil from one person.  I cant believe they are trying it again.

My mother called me saying these guys were looking for me , called back and some spanish guy picked up and said I had the wrong number ,, this is clearly a scam

Got a call from 725-402-5627 told me to call this number.  Robo call saying I was being sued by the IRS.  They send certified letters.  This is a total scam.

same thing, 206-462-5425  stating it was the IRS........the IRS doesn't call you and tell you they are going to sue you.  I wouldn't exactly call these prank calls. It's more SCAM, but there is no scam under call type.  Please do not call them OR give them any information.

Called saying it was a final notice from the IRS. This nunber only called me once btw. Also saying that the IRS is sueing me. So freaking ridiculous ! They actually they someone would believe that! The IRS only sends letters !

These losers have been calling all week on home answering machine. Same as others threatening IRS  final notice of lawsuit.  Would love to call on cell phone but don't want them to have that number too. Think I will post to FBI or Dept. Of Justice.  Probably a sleeper cell looking for fools to fund them. Yep, I said it.

received call today at 4:49 pm supposedly from 284-302-0000 (later checking indicated the number is 'invalid') female automated voice said it was a final warning that the IRS is filing suit, and to call 206-462-5425. This is just like a call received about a month ago. Report it on the TIGTA site for the IRS. This SCAM is being used aggressively throughout the country. Don't fall for it. IRS NEVER contacts people by phone.  Don't bother to call the 206-462-5425, just report it!
