I'll answer these with the handsfree speakerphone button, but I'll say nothing and just listen.
Robo-calls will often voice-trigger when you say "hello", but this one hangs up after a few seconds.

Some "state of America survey" group promising a two day cruise for participating.  Let call go to voice mail and the robo left the message.

206-496-0946 is getting to e a pain, calls at various times during the day. American Survey, I to hate election time...

Unknown 206 number calls too often. Not one I do business with - so ignored the call - again. I thought my do not call registration was valid for 5 years ! Apparently not...

Just got a call, I ignored it 206-496-0946

The do not call list is a joke. This and other "surveys" call me Saturdays, Sundays, Week days at any time morning, evening, night sometimes 10 or more calls a each day. I think I will change my land line to Google and mark any call I do not like as Spam! I am so ready for Google. FREDOOM! :-)

CALLER ID SAYS: IND SUR GROUIP - yes, they spell "group" wrong - they also call from 503-457-1368 and use the same caller ID! Has to be overseas telemarketers bothering us.

The trick to making these calls stop is to convince them that they are wasting their time and resources to call you. This is very difficult to do since the resources that they waste are small and the reward of scamming you out of your money is so great. I have found a way however. You must proceed until you get to a live person. Then tell that person in the most forceful, obscene fashion that you can that they should go engage in intercourse with themselves and then call you back to report the results. This conveys the idea that subsequent calls will not be productive and they remove your number from the list more certainly than any other way that I have found. It also is very good for relieving the frustration that they have caused you to feel.
    Perversely, this is also what is best for them since it prevents them from wasting time trying to wheedle you into changing your mind.
    Try it, you'll like it.
