no message didn't answer but they have called before

This number just called my job and left no message

It's a robo call. They SAY they're taking a political survey and if you don't hang up, they offer you a free cruise. Then they try and put you through to a sales agent. If you hang up at that point, telemarketers will follow up.

They just called me.  I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

Call ...no message...don't know anyone in the 206 area code

Rang once then hung up on its own 5 minutes ago

DO NOT ANSWER-Calls at all different times night and day-no message ever left. I had heard it was a scam. If you answer it they get your number to make international calls What is the point of a DNC list-it doesnt work-obviously.

Did not pick up, did not recognize the #.  caller left no msg!

I keep getting calls from this #. But I just called back and it's asking recording about politcal opinions. It gave me the option of haveing my # taken off the system. We will see how that goes.

Idiot survey company can be reached at www.politicalopinionsofamerica.org. There's a link on there to remove your number. I've done it; dunno if it'll work. But if it doesn't -- since I've told them to quit calling me with that submittal -- I now have something I can submit to the feds in my complaint!

Just got a no message call from them as well. I added them to my Mr. Number app.....so now if they call back it will pick up and hang up. Can't trust telemarketers to actually take you off the list.

I received three SPAM call today from this number. I’m sure it is from the same scam outfit using software to fake the origin numbers (like phishing emails).

From what I've learned - they are running several scams. The basic scam is this: They pretend to be conducting a political survey, as political calls are not blocked by the do not call list. They ask two or three easy questions, and tell you that you won a gift – like a free ship cruise. Then they will ask for your credit card number to pay for taxes and fees. Or they will do some variation of the above scam, like offering to reduce your credit card interest rate.

They always come back to the credit card - be aware! And if you do go on the cruise, the actual costs will go higher and higher, and you will be forced to attend a timeshare session before the cruise – so you lose more time.

Don’t bother pressing (1) to be removed from their list – that doesn’t work, as the criminals will not remove you from their call list, and may even increase the frequency of their calls. The FTC is pretty useless if they can't track and trap these abusers of our phone system. Remember – the callers are NOT a legitimate business - they are criminals/scammers trying to get your credit card number so they can defraud you. Don't even answer the phone, don't call back, just block them.

I have added all of the scam phone numbers to my blocked phone list - so I will never be bothered again. If you cannot block calls - just add the number to your phone book, with "No Name" and set the ringer to silent. If they call again, you will not hear the ring.

Again!!!!!  Same people, different number keeps calling my Do No Call registered cell phone number and wasting my minutes

Have received several calls from the area, no voice mail just multiple calls at various times a day - my number is on the Do Not Call list.

Reply to Angry Verizon Customer - I call the folks you mentioned at www.123GoCruise.com.  Spoke to a woman named Pam (a supervisor).  I told her I had traced the multiple phone calls I had gotten from 206-496-0948 and that I was livid at being called repeatedly even though I had pressede "1" to opt out of their scheme.  I gave her a list of my four telephone number to be dropped from their calling list and she assured me I would not be called again.  She even said to call her back if the calls didn't stop from the 206-496-0948 caller.  Here's the number to call to talk to "Pam" and request to have your number dropped from their calling list (hopefully)...800-221-8200

I got a call from them too and like the rest of the annoying calls I receive, I just pick up the phone and quickly hang it up. I just don't know why there's a DNC registry and the government won't prosecute those who violate it. If I broke any other law, they would come down on me hard for sure.

Called, answered, 4 beeps then hang up.  Don't know what it is.
