There are a series of number that call from this Seattle WA area exchange. Telemarketers. They are ignoring our do not call registry number. Try to trick you you with the calling regarding your credit card, then say, there is nothing wrong with you credit card and go into the prerecorded spiel.

This damn number calls me periodically, very annoying. Even though I registered myself in donotcall. We need to levy heavy fines to those telemarketers!

As I am on do not call list, they repeatly call my cell please levy fines and request to stop calling.

This time it's home security sys.    I ask them if they were using the don't call list and they hung up

Forget fines.  We need to find where they are and make them an offer they can't refuse.

Caller ID only shows "Washington". It begins as a recording stating that they show I live in a high crime area and if I allow them to put a sign in my yard they will install for FREE a security system. Then I was asked to press #1 for more info. The caller said he was John and the company was 'Security Systems".
I asked "do you know we have a do not call list in this state?" and he hung up on me.

Download the "Disconnect Ring Tone" and play it whenever you get a call such as this.  Note there is a pause between your picking up your phone before someone answers.  This is the computer determining whether it has reached a valid number.  If you play the disconnect tone, the computer automatically removes you from their calling directory.

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in apparent violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Didn't answer, went to voicemail.. message started with something like if I allow them to put a sign in my yard they will install for FREE a security system.

apparently this is a land line..lol...but doesnt matter i found out to answer and immediately hang up right away or just let it on call but put my phone on mute, seemed to help cuz one they stoped calling as often, and one day im sure they will stop completely. they use to call at least 5 times a day, up until after 9pm (est) which one no telemarketer should be calling that late. however the area code is from seattle WA so with the 3-4 hr time difference that could be why they call so late. but even so the whole answer and put on mute thing seems to work so far...its funny though cuz when you do that no one even says hello or anything, its like it auto calls but no service...weird but funny...im also going to try and call them from a pay phone to see who the hll it is or whatever...

I have my printer/fax connected to my phone. When these telemarketers call I simple hit the fax to answer and let their computers try to figure it out.

Please stop calling my number and wasting my minutes.

It was a telemarketer selling GE alarm home monitoring systems. Charles there is a real dick and spewed some crap out of his assmouth. Runup their phone bill (as they don't hang up when they're done) by leaving them on mute with the line still active.

They keep calling my phone and i request that they do not call and they hang up...
