I just got a call from this number.  It is Amazon .com customer service.  I had called them with some issues.  They gave me a follow up call.  That is all.

this phone number is a frank caller keeps calling amazon just to screw the agents. there are 2 people using this number one [***] female and one stupid guy  wasting time for nothing

So now we have two competing stories.   Whatsay we take a vote?

I just got a call from this number on my cell. Unfortunately, I missed the call but they left a message. It was a woman asking for a Michael( I don't know any michaels) and saying that I couldn't take off time from work for my daughter or something like that. First, I'm a girl who is 13... I got another call from a completely different number area code and all asking for mike. They left a voicemail also. weird huh?

It was amazon.com.  They were following up on an issue with an order.

This number must be a customer service call center for Amazon services - Create Space is their self-publishing arm and this is the number they called me from.
So it's a real number, connected to Amazon. I spoke to Vera. She was nice, answered my questions...can't get better than that.  It's not a number you can easily call back, though. They have their own routing numbers for that, no?

I missed the call, but it was a courtesy call from a very nice Amazon rep following up on a replacement charger for my Kindle.  I have always had courteous and very helpful reps while dealing with Amazon.
No complaints from me.

I did not answer as I did not recognize the number. Someone has the wrong number. .

I just had 4 phone calls from that number...did not pick up as i didnt recognize the number...they didn't leave a message... then they called for the 5th time  (this was all one after another)... and it is amazon calling for a kindle issue.... so yes it is amazon.
