Caller said I owed money!

got a call from officer Melvin  twice on my answering machine sayng I had committed tax fraud and he  ( the tax audit dept of IRS) would be issuing a warrent for my arrest... so to prevent that call him at 206-512-1496, I smelled a fraud  and when I googled that phone # found this.

It's a known scam. The IRS has a webpage warning people about it. http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/press/press_tigta-2014-03.htm

Hello. This is Melvin Batjik calling you from tax order department of Internal Revenue Services The Nature behind this voicemail is to make you aware about a scenario that we have received a legal petition notice against your name concerning an illegal tax evasion. Or a tax fraud you can say. So we are about to take this matter to the Federal claims court house and we are about the issue a warrant for your arrest. But before we go ahead and do anything like that. If you need any further details concerning this case. Kindly call us back on our call back number, which is 206 512-1496. I repeat (206) 512-1496. Again, this is Officer Melvin, You have a great ??in here Thank you.

9/8/14 same message what can we do?

Same message as above.  I have reported to Federal Trade Commission.

This idiot keeps calling me from 206-512-1496 finally left a message saying I commuted tax fraud and going to issue a warrant for my arrest but before he does I need to call him at the number listed above. Officer Melvin can kiss my ***
