Got a message that "IRS is filling a lawsuit against you." I called the number and kept asking the man for hus nane. He kept asking for mine. I could hear a lot of other people talking in the background. He either hung up or the call dropped.

Got a call from the sane number 206-538-5498. Left a VM saying a lawsuit has been filed by the IRS.

We also got a call from this number saying a lawsuit has been filed against us.  I did not bother to call them back.
I am reporting them to the IRS Report Fraud #800-829-0433.  I hate to think some people are duped into sending
them money to settle.  Why can't this be stopped?

I also received a call this morning saying the IRS was filing a suit against me and to call 206-538-5498. It is a scam. Beware and report this caller.

Received a phone call from 2065385498 claiming the IRS was suing me.  Thankfully, sites like this help identify scams quickly.  Trying to identify scams by calling them and going on their site was fruitless

The "them" who I was trying to call and whose site I visited was the IRS.

You are either the scammer or being scammed!

I received a call today from this same number, told me I had to go to court Monday and could not even tell me the address of the court.  THIS IS A HOAX everyone.

got a call from 206 538 5498 robot voice saying irs is moving forward with a lawsuit against me unless I call back immediately
I called back and the phone rang with no answer.

Got a call from this number. Non English speaking person told me to give them info. I said you called me you should have the info. They hung up

This appears to be a scam pretending to be the IRS.
My voicemail received was:
"internal revenue services the reason of this call is to inform you that irs is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 206-538-5498 i repeat 206-538-5498 thank you"

my husband got this called x2    one yesterday and today  saying that irs has a lawsuit on him
i called that number on his phone   no answer-----called on my phone--someone answer it  tell me that
i owe irs lots of money---i told him that i will go to irs here where i live and all of a sudden the phone went dead
i am going to report this to irs    hopeful this will stop---my husband is ill and that person had him so upset that
he was having a anxiety attack----this needs to stop and that person need to get charge

I got the same call today.

I got a call saying I was approved for a $14,500.00 grant, all I had to do was give them my debit card number so they could deposit it.  They later asked for $435.00
