the same person has been calling me 10 times in one hour it is a forein male claiming to be with some collection agency he has called me 10 times with 10 different area codes but it is the same person

Same number calling me over and over and when I call back a machine answers and says good bye and hands up [***] annoying

I'm from Seattle and have recently moved. Within the last three weeks, seemingly out of the blue, these people started calling at all hours of the night, early morning And throughout the workday . They never leave a message and can barely communicate when I do answer. Also, if you call them back, you get an automated machine voice who says 'good - bye' and disconnects. Seems fraudulent an unwanted - help.

They called me on Saturday 04/12/14 @ 5:27pm and left no message. The area code is Seattle, WA but it most likely is a spoofed number, calling from another country to make it look like the USA. I just block the numbers. 206 607 4540

Thank you all for your posts on this number. I'll text it to the free anti-spam number service the phone companies provide, and that will get it blocked permanently from my phone. Ultimately, all these spoofed numbers should run out hopefully, because I've had a bunch of different numbers calling me. Seems illegal and like something should be done about this. The fact they're still out there so boldly and offensively calling random people is a sign of their eventually fall... Only information I have is "Rent-to-Own Homes" - filling out their online form on their website was a mistake. It required creating an account to "freely" view rent-to-own homes, but then they charge and won't stop spamming. I spammed their emails that I think might still come in (to my spam folder) daily... Almost seems like a deliberate attack from one of the many foreign countries that hate our country, because it's not like they could be having very many successful sales. Even if I'm interested in a purchase, I will not deal with salespeople that inconvenience me. Once again, thanks to everyone for the contributions on these forums. :) Anyone, at least for sure works with Sprint, can text any spam number to 7726 to help stop spam. And texting "spam 2066074540 to 9999 will for sure with Sprint, but doesn't one or both those worked with other companies, can't recall for sure. Both those services though have assured I never get another call from a number again, so ultimately, all the spoofed numbers ought to run out on the bad guys eventually, at least in being able to make unsolicited calls to my phone anymore! :)

I also tried the rent to own homes seven day trial. Then glitches on the website didn't allow me to cancel! Suddenly I am receiving all these calls from this number as well as a Texas and Arizona number all from foreign creditors! Is there some law to go after them with?

i get these calls all the time, different area codes, same idiots.  it's a scam, they are trying to get money off of you.  why this [***] isn't illegal is beyond me.  i have a smart phone and there is an option to reject the caller.  i do that with every call like this.  i look the number up here and if it's bs then i go to my phone, go to the number and click "add to reject list".  so if they call again, it hangs up on them.
