Robo call stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.

IRS fake call!!!! Dont answer.  The IRS will never ever call you.  They send letters.

I have gotten several robo calls, claiming to be the irs and one live person with a foreign, perhaps indian or arabic accent claiming the same thing.
This is not how the irs contacts you nor effective notice of a legal action!!! Do not give any information, just report it.

Just received call from this number on cell phone, showed as Egypt +20 67 016 605, left a partial voice mail as if an automated message started as soon as VM answered before beep to record. Left phone number for return call about this case file.  Deleted.

I just received a call from this number claiming the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file call 206-701-6605 immediately for more information.

Got the same thing robo voice stating they were irs filing a lawsuit against me etc

I received a robo call from this number and was mad because i was tying to nap, so i called back. Told "Alex Gupta" he should lean better english and the IRS doesn't call people, that they send certified letters and if he knew anything about the United States he'd know that.

Received call from "Seafirst Bank"  1-206-701-6605.
Was a robocall claiming to be the IRS & filing a lawsuit.
Called back & spoke to an asian punk who answered.
Told him that it was against the law to impersonate someone and if he called my home again I would press charges.
Told him he needed a real job.

People like him need to be sent to Thailand to clean shrimp!  Ugh!

Fake IRS call

robo call supposedly from the IRS informing me they have been trying to call me and they are going to file suit against me, really we all know the IRS will not call you let alone use a robo call to do it, showed up as SEAFIRST BANK with my caller ID

Same, says irs that lawsuit has been filed..law enforcement is on the way to your house to arrest you..this is a fake don't fall for it. .

Same thing, some IRS scammer leaving a message, really lame. What next? Zorg from the Nebulous Galaxy, calling to inform you aliens are coming to abduct you, and please give the grays a call? Whatever the link is to the U.S., somebody with half a brain should watch out impersonating the IRS, which is surely a federal crime.

I have received numerous calls from this number claiming to be the IRS and that they are filing a law suit against me.

I just retrieved 2 voice mails claiming to be the IRS and they are issuing a law suit against me.  My name was not used in the VM, but they said I must call a number they left.  Looked on the web and the IRS states there is a scam going on like this....Don't be fooled folks, don't call back....Merry Christmas Scrooge..

I got a call from this number stating they are the IRS and this is the last notice and will file a lawsuit against me, but did not state a name only said to give them a call back to this number.

"Seafirst Bank" has been calling since 0600 and has called 3 times since today also stating I'm being sued by IRS. Each call was my FINAL notice. FOUR times today I've rec'd a FINAL notice. Ummm-yeah. I'lol get back to these scammers at my earliest possible convenience. Hopefully-they're holding their breath waiting for my return call.

On 12/15/15, I rec'd prerecorded mechanical voice on answering machine, possibly female; message was garbled at times... what I could hear was "IRS filing a lawsuit".  The English was good, not foreign.   So, today, I went online, the Federal Communications Commission website, and filed a complaint; they are the feds that can investigate this, and sometimes find these people.  Then, I checked the 'white pages' online, the number is supposedly from Seattle (USA), a  VoIP phone; white pages noted that the 'name is not listed for privacy reasons' - so I made a report on this scam on that website. And, this site, another site just like this.
