Called my cell on a Saturday afternoon. VM not understandable. When I called the number - all circuits busy.

3/18/09 4:05 PM  Received 2 calls from a person that seemed very confused - I could not understand him. Appears to be many people with this same problem. Some folks think it could be coming from a jail......

Same as previous -- long, rambling message "I was there, where were you, I need some money"

Caller ID said City of Seattle.  No VM left, called my home phone then 2 mins later called my cell phone.

Robocall wanting personal info for reduced utility billing. Wanted me to return call to (206) 684-0268 and submit personal documents. Obviously a scam.
caller id said City of Seattle. Warnings about this sort of thing are in the Seattle City Light bills.

It's a robo call from Seattle City Light.  If they haven't posted your payment by the due date, it generates a call.  It's nothing robo,  no scam,  just pay your frickin bill,  dumbasses!

Me too but I checked my account and I'm current , when I called the Seattle City Light department they gave me a non emergency number for the police of Seattle department because it might be a fraudulent call.

Same here.  Could only make out the end of the message though.
