Bogus call saying calling from IRS

Received a recording on my answering machine stating this is the IRS..

They left a msg on my machine to call 206-734-4414 because the "IRS was filing a lawsuit" against me. This was my "official final notice". We called back just to mess with them but they never answered. Always a busy signal.

Same experience as other posts.  Threatening lawsuit and final notice from IRS. The obvious tip off was I called on Saturday morning at 10:00 and after 15 - 20 seconds got a live person.  Couple issues here: 1. Almost all government agencies are closed on the weekend. 2. According to news reports, it requires a wait time of at least 30 minutes, if your lucky, to speak to an IRS representative.

Same as the others.  The message purports to be final notice from IRS regarding a lawsuit (ironically no name mentioned as towho theyare tryingto contact or previous communication). No way to get a live person while the message is playing and I called back to a phone number ringing incessantly.  Trying to figure out other ways of reporting them because I'm pretty sure the government won't take lightly that an entity is trying to steal their identity.

Automated recording identifying as IRS, advising... have tried to contact me reference pending lawsuit... hung up, hit redial and got a female auto attendant (voice mail) advising the person (no name) is unavailable, asking me to leave a message at the beep... No information on reverse directory, however previously reported as spam call source.

Possibly a debt collector fishing...

Received a call from the IRS (not) saying it was the finial notice and they were filing a lawsuit against me (although they didn't mention a name).  Obviously a bogus call.  Tried to call back and got a busy signal.

Bogus call. Tax scam. Robo-Caller claims to inform recipient that call is "official final warning" that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against the person receiving the call (no name mentioned, of course). Call recipient instructed to call an 800 number and take immediate action to resolve their pending "case".

Same as all other reports.

Got the same message as above and did not call # back, googled it first:-)

Same experience as mentioned above.  They left message on my machine.  Called number back.  Female had thick accent that I could hardly understand.  Explained to me that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me for unpaid taxes for 2013 and wanted to know how I planned to resolve issue.  When I started asking questions they could not answer and hung up on me.  When I called back no one would answer.

This number left message IRS is sueing me.  Yeah right.  This is my final call.  IRS does not call, they send letters.  Wonder how many seniors get this call and panic.  And I am on DO NOT CALL list.  Wish there was a way to report to goverment these calls.  Won't waste my time calling them back to them how I feel.

Same as everybody else. I just paid the IRS over 3,500 for 2014. Don't need these jokers making my life worse..

I just received the same call which completely freaked me out.  I'm even more irritated because my 80 year old boss got this  call  last week and I talked her off the roof by googling the number to show her it was a scam... then I fell for the same gag.

Phew.  I'm just glad it's not real.

Final notice from IRS before they sue me. Ditched them in YouMail so if they call again they will get a message that my phone is no longer in service.

Harassing call from 206-734-4414 indicating IRS is sueing me with a lawsuit and they have been trying to reach me.

about 5 calls from this bogus number saying im being sued by irs...no answer when #i is called.
