Just called me and didn't leave a voice message. Grrrr...

I received a call from this phone number - from a person claiming to be a supervisor named Erin Favor with the Department of Labor's Division of Occupational Safety and Health.  He left a 360-416-3040  call-back number, and claimed, when I inquired, that he was in their Mount Vernon, Washington offices.  He stated that he had a copy of a labor complaint I filed regarding a child labor workplace safety issue, and he said it was going no further;  however, he was not familiar with the Washington State Labor Laws in question, that other L&I employees had referred me through as being very definite, and he refused to provide a copy of his negative phone communication in writing.  That is, when I requested this response in writing, he said I wouldn't be getting ANYTHING in writing.

I am presently contacting other individuals with the Labor Department because it does not sound legitimate, and it sounded very fishy.

I received a call from this # today; I missed the call;  when I tried to check my voicemail my phone wouldnt play the message! So I decided to look up the number. My search brought me here. I didn't talk to anyone so I am not able to give any info other than I got a bogus call as well. It's good to know and get the word out so people don't end up giving out personal information.

had the same problem as the rest of you.

I recieve this number everytime my Foster sons social worker calls me. Its wierd that this number is displayed everytime she calls. It often "blows" up my phone calling every few minutes. Not sure why she is on the other end when i pick up seeing as how she is a legitimate social worker. when i try to call it back the number cant be called as dialed.

I got a call too and it was my child's school bus driver!

I have a missed call from that number.Twice actually within 15 min of each other.Left no voice mail though 206( Seattle)is a king county area code

I received a called today from this number  206-777-3723  tried google while it was ringing to see if i should answer and got this.  I got a recorded message from the washington state department of revenue which is a call i was expecting so it wasn't a cold call.  I thought I would leave the info since nothing came up when i tried to google.  Maybe there are certain numbers that the state shares.  the number was legitimate.

I am receiving calls that claim they are the local work source office and how they can help find you a job.
They are only suggesting to come in. I called the washington state unemployment office and asked them
if they are placing calls from this number. They responded with a no. They also have a testimony from a person who says the Work Source office can help. What is really strange is they last called on a Saturday night at 6:05pm. twice but left no message like they did the times before.  Now I have come to the conclusion that this is a spam.  The unemployment office is also investigating.

I received a call from this number also.  Received two calls within 20 minutes of each other.  Neither time did they leave a voice mail.  I Live in Ohio but I did open a business and licensed it in the state of Washington.  If it truely was the state department of revenue I could understand the call, however I did report to them the business had made no maoney in the past two years, and that we had actually shut down.  Surprised to be receiving a call still but could understand if it really was them.

This number is the routing number for almost all Washington State offices. It can be DSHS, L&I, etc but they are all routed through a switchboard and this is the number that comes up on caller ID.

I got a call from this number, turned out to be my Dad who works for the health department.  It is a generic WA State line.  Govt offices that dial 9 for outside line may come from this or any other from their phone network's bank of numbers.

This number comes up for most washington state departments ie DSHS, Department of Corrections, Child Support, L&I, etc. it is kind of a "spoof number", if you will.

They call twice in a row.  Leave no messages, and that's even more annoying.  If it IS the State, they need to be more professional and leave a message!  Then, again, the State of Washington is not run by people that are all that professional.

Several of my friends (up to 25 now) have received many unwanted calls.  If we ignore the call, then they do not leave a message.  If we pick up the call we receive people representing themselves as:
1. Washington Social Security
2. Washington Labor
3. Time Shares to sell  <--Plenty of this!
4. Insurance quote


My number is on the Do Not Call list.  I am tempted to file a BBB complaint and check the FTC if this happens.

I have gotten 5 calls rom this number since last nigh no answer when I answer the phone,so I called the number back & I got a recording that this number is disconnected,if it's disconnected why are they still calling me.
