Don't know who it is they said it wasn't a sales call and to press 1 to be transferred to someone I pressed 1 and then was on hold until I hung up

I had the same call but I dont answer calls on phone numbers I dont know?

Just got a call on my work phone number from 206-801-0980.  When I answered it said please hold for an important call.  After 15 seconds or so someone answered asking for me.  I asked to was calling and they disconnected.  Anyone know who this is??

Got a call from this number this morning.  Woman said my husband had defaulted on a loan.  I told her he had not taken out a loan and she called me a liar.  She even gave me the last four digits of a ss number which were not his.  Wow what a way to do business.

Strange number keeps calling! I answer and hold but they never speak! It's creepy to know they know my full name! They are calling non-stop all hours of the night

This number calles me atleast once a day, but never leaves a voicemail. I dont pick up numbers i dont recgonize, for this same reason.

I get numerous calls from this number every day and I finally just called them back... the woman was SO rude to me and was demanding I owed $61 from a doctor's visit back in 2008?? I ended up hanging up on her because she was so unprofessional... is this collection agency legit?? Please advise...

the best thing to do is just dont pick up the phone by doing that they will not call as often or the boat air horn in the ear works great lol

This number calls with recorded introduction. If you press 1 it puts you on hold but there is no one available to talk to. I called it back once and they were trying to collect on a debt from 15 years ago that was satisfied. I believe them to be a collection agency that buys old debt. Statute of limitations on debt collection is 11 years. My debt was one I fought and won which is probably why it is still out there. The person I spoke to was insistent and rude. I don't answer it anymore.

I got a similar call first saying " *my name* we need to talk" then saying I owe from 2010 $17 to my primary care doctor. Fortunately for me he is right around the corner. So I stopped in and they told me no such debt existed and I just spoke to the billing department and they too told me nothing existed. The man was persistent on getting my card info. Glad I didn't give it and have reported them to my Doctor's office!

this is ludacris. and F**** you if you calling my phone and being a DI*k. even if i owe something there will be no way you going to get a cent out of me. acting like and talking all heavy weight,

  all i asked was whos this and why are you calling and i get a nothing but fighting words from the caller. i mean c'mon. if you want something ask but you don't have to try soooooo hard to intimidate me.

Got a call from them early this morning. I didnt pick since i didnt recognize the number, I figure if its important they would leave a message. They didnt leave a message so I called back anyways. Some guy picked up stating it was "Service Bureau" asked me for my number and placed me on hold and was transfered to a different guy. They new ask me if I knew someone which I didnt. That was it, quick and nice.

I believe this is the Collection Service Bureau which deals mainly with healthcare collection type of cases.

Ken Laster from National Service Bureau collector. Uses deceptive collection practices threatening to have the police come and take away your license if you don't call back. Harassed my employer. When I requested that he send me proof in writing he did not honor my request. He claims he is not under the FTC rules by Mr. Laster here is a expert from their website: The FTC enforces the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), which prohibits deceptive, unfair, and abusive debt collection practices. These people are scammers.  They also have several other numbers.  When ever I type in the (so called) number they gave me other numbers come up.  They said my husband had won some enormous amount of money and to give it to him he had to get a "scratch card" from CVS.  SURE!  Now he thinks he can play games with them.  These guys are pros and well trained to ware you down.  Be careful!

Received a call this morning at 6:55 AM, stating they were reviewing medical records for myself and my family.  Stated something about a mesh implant.  I asked, by are you call at 6:55 AM, and the woman just kept talking about the mesh implant.  I hung up on her.  I called back and asked for a supervisor.  He stated that they do not have my medical records, and that they do not even know if anyone in my family had a mesh implant, just that our name turned up on a search.  I told them I was hiring an attorney, and they hung up on me!!!!
