They left a message and said the IRS was filing a law suit against us and to call 206-855-5835.

The IRS does not make phone calls they send you a letter.  This is a scam

I also received a message on my answering machine from 206-855-5835. the man indicated he was with the irs and they were suing me and putting a lean on my house and bank accounts,

We've been receiving messages from this number for a while, now.
Same thing: message refers to a "law suit" against us & instructs us to call. They answer "IRS" when you call. When my wife asked who they were they just hung up.
I know it is a Washington state area code

I just got a call from 2068555835 they are a scam!! I asked them for my break down and to confirm they are the IRS and they just hung up. I really hope no one falls for it.

Has anyone told them to kiss off or go jump..my husband just called me at work and I tried to tell him it was a scam...

received call from 208-855-5835 stating that I had an IRS lawsuit against me and there was a warrant out for my arrest. They asked me if I wanted to resolve this matter in the courts or now. I told them I did not have any letter in writing from them and again they said do you want to resolve this matter. I asked for a number that I could call them back for I wanted to get advise from my tax account. They hung up. When trying to call the number back from different phone number..... it says this number is not available. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message left that the IRS is suing us and to call 206 855 5835, the message didn't say it was for anybody in patricular and there was not any reference number, also we never got any mail from the IRS that there was a problem, this call was a scam

Got a call claiming they are the IRS, and are filing a lawsuit.  I called back - knowing it was a scam.  I asked what company they really are, and they hung up on me.  I called back 7 or 8 times, each time the same person answered.  I told him that I find it hard to believe they are the IRS when the same person keeps answering the phone. He hung up again.  So I called back, and told him to quit trying to scam people and said a few choice words, and he hung up again.  I think I might do this all day!

Received call with no caller ID, they left message IRS filing lawsuit and to call 206-855-5835.  I looked up on here who calls me from, and I  see the same from others!!
