Caller says that he is calling from the IRS regarding a complaint against my name having to do with a tax issue.  He asked if I knew what it was about.  I said, No, why don't you tell me.  He then asked if I wanted him to call the police to have me arrested right away.  I said, Yes, please call the police.  He hung up.  The police never came.

GOT THIS CALL FROM JAMES O'CONNER/AGENT FROM THE IRS, GAVE ME A CASE NUMBER AND TOLD ME THE IRS IS PUTTING LIENS ON ALL MY PROPERETIES, GOING TO JAIL AND LOSS OF CREDIT, ETC......CALLED MY TAX GUT AND HE SAID IT'S BS....IRS DOESN'T CALL OR USE EMAIL...SENDS A CERTIFIED LETTER....WHAT A SCAM AND WASTE OF TIME FOR ALL INVOLVED.....

IRS Call.  Recorded message indicates filing claim against me and I could end up doing jail time.  Crock of [***] Caller!! STOP CALLING!

This is an IRS scammer

Caller says he's from irs, that he will serve us with warrant for not paying or taxes.  Refused to give any information about the case only that we should pay the back taxes and fines. I asked for any putrid and he only said that we would be arrested.  I confronted him and he couldn't answer so I hung up.

I got a voice-mail stating his name( with an hindu accent) that  he is calling from the IRS. And I have to call as soon as I get this call about a tax issue. What a scammer? IRS do not call people or send e-mails. I simply did not call him up and delete the voice-mail. DO NOT CALL- DON'T BOTHER.

Big scam call. Scare tactics saying arrest, tax liens, calls to creditors, and so on. Indian accent and
no info. I'm sure the next thing would be (you can solve this now with a credit card payment) what
a joke. The IRS doesn't work this way.

I received a call and he left a message  this morning. I am Officer James O'Connor. from the IRS Tax Crime Department.
We have a warrant for your arrest. (he had a Hindu accent). could not say my name correct.
and we also have your properties that can be taken, please call me as soon as you get this message to tell you more about this it's  very important.  I called someone and they mentioned it was a scam since yesterday was April 15

I just got off the phone with this Scammer with an Indian accent. He knew my name and informed me there was a complaint against me, I advised him to direct the police to my address and I will address the complaint against me with them. He hung up, not surprised.

Just received the same BS call at my work number.  I wish we had an easy and immediate way to deal with this - kaboom :-)

I returned the call to see what I would get and someone picked up the telephone, and I can hear in the background the same message that someone was leaving on someone's phone number.
I told the guy that the FBI will be taping conversation like yours...., the guy kept laughing. and he said." you call me " with a hindu accent....and kept on laughing

Received the same voicemail with a Hindu accent with treats of IRS warrants for arrest and to call back for details related to the message.  When the IRS wants to deal with me, they do it in writing, certified mail in letterhead.

Just received a call from a person claiming to be Stephen White from the IRS.  Very thick accent.  Just another scam call.

When u asked why they keep calling my number with this scam, he said, "W want to get from you Americans"

Caller stated I owed $1950 from back taxes from 2011-2013 and that if I didn't pay right now without terminating the call that the police and I would be arrested within 45 minutes.  Said he was with the criminal investigation office of the IRS and he said his name was Stan Marshall but has a strong Middle Eastern accent.

I got a robocall from (607)722-9687 and was told to call back the 206 number as the irs was going to take legal action.  No case number given.  Didn't call back.

Similar voicemail message as above posts. I was tipped off that they used my maiden name and there was some mumbling of info. And his IRS number came up from Washington. How can this be legal and whats the goal? Just for kicks or do they try to get something from you. Im almost tempted to call to mess with THEM.
