I got that call plenty of times before, the first few i just let it go to voice mail, then they called again and i picked it up, it's for a free 10 dollar gift card, I told them to put me on there do not call list, they still called, i just got the call like 10 minutes ago and the guys wanted to give me a 10 dollar walmart gift card for doing a survey online, i said "I didn't do any surveys and if I did then you should know my name right?" he said "look i'm just trying to give you your 100 dollar gift card thats all." I was like "100 dollars just a second ago you told me 10, look just answer me this question. If I did a survey then you should know me name correct?" the guy said "Yes" I said "then what is my name" he just hangs up on me. I told them to put me on their do not call list 3 times, they better not call me back!!!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number and other numbers in odd places (Clanton, AL and Astoria, OR come to mind) for months. I do not answer calls from unrecognized numbers and they do not leave a message.

Same thing calls me, guy says his name is "Steven" that I won a Wal Mart gift card and then he doesn't say anything else.  Or I say take me off the list and he hangs up.  ID says they are calling from Washington

I received a missed call on my cell - didn't pick it up...and then 15 seconds after my cell stopped, my house phone rang...have no idea who it was - but didn't pick it up.  going to add it to the verizon block list - wish you could add more than 5

just received a call from this number on 2/10/2012 at 7:45PM but didn't answer since the area code nor the number looked familiar; as expected no message was left so likely spam/telemarketing

I just got a call on my cell phone, this makes 3 different numbers that I have been getting calls from since last week.  I don't know where this one is from, the other 2 were from Oregon..Portland and Astoria.  I hate telemarkers....

I just got a call from this number. I said hello about 4 time and some one on the other end asks me what my name is!?! I said "you should know my name you called me!" Then I hung up

Constant calls, obviously automated because if it isn't picked up immediately, there is no one there when one does answer the call.  They have 'moved on' to an active line.  Company unknown, I can call back and get VM but no identifier.

I have a stalker who is apparently researching all of these bogus numbers.  I didn't answer the phone, but I called the number back- vm answered - stated that this was some sort of fax number but if it was fax number you would get a long beep then it says you leave a msg.  I left a msg if you called again I will call FTC, and the police because I am on the do not call list.

I've gotten four calls from this number so far. I don't bother to answer since I now recognize this number.  And I'll be reporting each of this calls as a separate complaint to DNC.

Someone reported on another site that the call comes from Watkins Network (another said Wakans) so if anyone would like to research it, please do and let us know what you find.

FYI, the number is a landline phone and is served by International Telecom, Ltd. – WA.

Idiot keeps calling yet when you try to call back can't get hold of nobody!If I decide to sue their as s will be fun.They better have some extra money on the side cause I'm going to take it all!

The Company is legitimate but their sales process is so unprofessional. They say you responded to an online survey and may even have your correct email.  Here is what I do every time they call.  You know the caller is not real.  Ask if he is human or a computer and you will get a few response "Why I am that good?" or "OK" or "YES".  Go along with the process and give a fake credit card number and expiration date.  Soon after a real live person will call to confirm the proper credit card.  Tell them yes, I provided a fake number to a fake caller.   Tell them you want to be added to their DO NOT CALL list and if so, tell them you are also on the Federal DO NOT CALL list, which is meaningless.

I also told the live caller, if your company is legitimate (it competes with Groupon and uses the same colors on their website to confuse consumers) then why have robo callers to promote a legitimate business.  It certainly tells me it is not a company I want to do business with.  You can also call their customer service # and ask to be put on the DNC list 1 877 332 1490.  Let's inundate them with their own type of business ethics.

Also there may be silence on the call initially, remember it is a robo caller so wait so you can get them a their own game.  Let's waste this companies time like it is wasting our time.  The company is called Wakanetwork and it is similar to Groupon put you pay a small amount to get the business' discount price. Unlike Groupon where the business pays Groupon.

The company is also dishonest in the fact that its website looks just like Groupon's website BUT DON'T BITE!  COMPLAIN TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, BBB AND CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN.  We can put them out of business or at least get them to change their business practices, if their are as legitimate as they claim to be.

I received yet another call today.
I had the agent spell the name of his company, it is Waka Network.  I did a search, and found the following website: http://wakanetworkinc.com/aboutus.html  On that site's "Contact Us" page, there is an email address and phone number.  The email address is info@wakanetworkinc.com, and the phone number is 1-877-237-9772.  I called, and the lady I spoke to confirmed that they are the company making the Wal-Mart Gift Card Calls.  She advised that she could put us on the do not call list, but it takes up to 72 hours to take effect.  I don't believe that for a moment, but we now have a contact number so we can bug them as much as they have been bugging us.  Huzzah!!!

The do not call list does not work for computer generated phone calls...

Answered - didn't recognize number but son was traveling so I thought twice before picking up.
Call was totally automated - took several hello's to get their recording going.  Could tell it was a robot talking.  When they said they wanted to talk to me about my $10 Walmart gift card, I said I did not have a gift card for Walmart and hung up.

Wakens - Walkins something or another - total scam.

Keeps calling my personal cell number and I keep telling them to take me off the list. It is Watkins? trying to give a $110 WalMart gift certificate.
