I heard a few muffled words then 30 seconds of classical piano???

Didn't pick up. They didn't leave a voice mail.

This is a man named Reggie who works for Amazon and if you've ever called Amazon about a problem with your Kindle, he will HOUND YOU TO DEATH! I received 8 phone calls from him yesterday in a 3 hour span and it's starting again this Saturday morning at 7:30. If Amazon can't do anything about him then I'm going to report him to the police for harassment!

I pick up and you can't barely understand the person on the other line. The accent is extremely heavy. It was a male calling him self Bob or Tom or something to that matter. He stated something about Amazon and needed something about my account. I told him I'll call Amazon directly and find out what was going on.  He got angry and said NO NO NO. I'm sure what was following was something about talking to him but his accent was so thick I couldn't get anything. I hung up and blocked the number.

Same guy called me tonight but claimed to be from google tech support . he was going to help me move my files to the cloud.

I didnt pick up but there were 2 calls back to back at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning. I recently had a problem with Amazon which caused me to cancel an order & send several angry emails. Every email received an extensive reply with a rather pointless "solution."   Because other people have mentioned Amazon makes me think there's a connection.

This is a verified GOOD phone number from Amazon Kindle Customer Support.  It is not a scam or telemarketer.  If you request a call from Amazon, or if they are calling to follow up on a past issue, this is one of the main numbers the call will come from.

Had 2 calls from Amazon within 2 minutes, 2nd time I asked what number they were calling and they hung up on me. I did not call Amazon regarding a problem. I did call when they had a Kindle update a couple months back.

I contacted Amazon about a third party seller using the "Amazon" name as an independent invoicing agent for a vehicle ad I replied to on auto trader. The so called " seller"  claimed Amazon would invoice me if I bought the vehicle, hold the funds for 5 days ( to give me time to say yea or nea to said car) then release funds to her once I was happy with the vehicle. The seller was claiming to rush sell due to deployment tugging at my cold black heart! Seller / scammer signed emails like so:

Ok, so coming coming from a HUGE military family this ENRAGED me that he/she whom ever is using the military name and service to OUR AMERICA to scam people!!!  I was livid and reached out to Amazon, forwarded the emails where scammer/ seller used Amazons name under the guise that Amazon is legitimate and would hold my
Money for five days until I was happy with said vehicle, then release funds to scammer after I gave the ok, therefore creating two comforts for me, the fact that the scammer / seller was a member of our military ( GRrrr) and that the transaction was backed by Amazon.

Getting calls from this number stating, heavily accented, that they are from Amazon invoicing and would I like to send money now to get my car?
NO NO NO, this isn't Amazon, it's a scammer pretending to be a representative of Amazon asking you to transfer money via an " fake Amazon looking" pay now button Website! Thank god I'm not stupid and actually have gotten a kick out of getting this Jerkweed looked into since he/ she/ scammer is using the Amazon name as legitimacy to give me a false sense of safety/ comfort to complete the scamming, the info is being sent to the Internet crimes unit. I received calls at 4:45 and 5:46 am from this number claiming to be Amazon invoicing lmfao. Amazon will never call you at 4:45 am to complete a transaction via phone like this. So I'm hoping I saved just one person from falling for this scam as its a great one!

When I first received a call from this number the first thing I did was check this site. So I was skeptical to say the least. But this person kept calling me and yes it was indeed Lawrence. I had talked to him on Wednesday when I called Amazon regarding a kindle issue and I remembered that name as I had written it down. So today I'm getting repeated calls from this number and I answered it, it was indeed the same Lawrence that I had talked to at Amazon on Wednesday. A very pleasant well spoken representative of the Amazon support team. And he was calling me today and follow up of my reported issues. I congratulate Amazon and applaud them for their excellent customer service. For those of you nay sayers, please get your facts right before posting on a public forum.

When I activated the Help function for my Kindle Fire, Someone from 206-922-0866 called me back. He walked me through the steps to update the software and remedy the problem.

Agent said his name was Gerald. Why do foreign call centers assign fake Anglo names to agents with obviously non-Anglo accents?

Haven't answered yet, but they started calling me this morning at 4:03 AM! Then at 5:12. Then at 7:39. I have been having an issue with my Kindle, but why don't they leave a message so I know who is calling? And 4:00 AM is just ridiculous! Can I bill them for my 2 hours of lost sleep? :(

That number also showed up on my phone, account showed phone was active for over 5 minutes.  Problem is at the time of supposed call I was at lunch and phone was off.  So how can it show my number was active for 5 minutes?

Is a valid # & not spam. If you ask them to call you via the Internet this is the # they call from. Call center is now in the Philippines vice India

I just received two back to back calls from this number. I did have a problem with an amazon gift card that I inquired about this morning. I am guessing there is an amazon connection. However I did ask to be contacted via email not phone.

I complained to Amazon by email this morning and then I get this call so I guess I can believe the stories that it is actually them. Anyway, they asked to verify my email but you should never ever tell someone who calls any information. Always make them give you a call back number and verify on the Internet first before you call it. Treat everyone like your enemy because most of these calls are.

I do not answer unrecognized numbers.  I received 2 calls back to back but they did not leave a message.  I guess it wasn't that important.
