This IDIOT keeps calling me several times a day leaving nasty messages claiming he is a law enforcement agency and threatening legal action if I don't return his call. Ugh!

This is a scam. If you receive a phone call from this number or any other, then call the Federal Trade Commission at 577.382.4357. Select 1 for English, 1 to file a complaint, and 3 to speak with a representative. I found out about this by calling Verizon's Illegal Calls department.

I just got the same call

Called and left the following message today (I never pick up unknown calls and I have verizons vm to text):

"So I need you or your return attorney to call us back my direct line number is 206-923-9464. I repeat it's 206-923-9464. Now don't disregard this message and do return the call if I don't hear from you or your attorney either then the legal situation unfolds on you. Have a nice day goodbye."

I'll report to the FTC.  Hopefully no-one falls for this.

this is my second harassing call from "Officer Sean White" from the Tax crime investigation division of the IRS.  He threatens to take legal action if he doesn't hear from me or my attorney.  he speaks with a very heavy accent.

I keep getting calls from this man that has a foreign accent claiming I need an attorney for a tax problem.
I contacted my tax person and she said that this has to be a scam, the IRS does not call anyone, they contact you by mail.
I told the man that I know that he is a scam and he hung up on me.

I got that call on my cell phone for the first time  today. It is a heavy accent male voice that called. And all of what the other people have said is what I too have experienced. And I know that definitely the IRS doesn't make calls.
I have been the recipient of scams from the "DEA" also. For that one I called the local DEA office and was directed to their website to file a complaint. I did and was contacted within 3 days of filing by a representative in their fraud and scams division. I will be going on to the IRS' website to find out if they have a place for me to  file a complaint.

A heavy accent man called and left message for me or my attorney need to call him back. The IRS does not do this.

I got the same type of voicemail message, only I called the number back. This guy basically told me the same thing that there was IRS tax fraud but he couldn't send me anything in writing, at which point I hung up on him.

I got the same message on my answering machine yesterday, same verbage, same heavy accent.  When I called the number back, I got a busy signal - he was probably making more calls!

Yesterday a male with a heavy accent left a threatening message on my voice mail.  The end of it was "if you or your lawyer don't return my call then the legal situation unfolds on you.  Thank you and have a nice day."

I just received the same threatening message on my voicemail. The man told me if I don't have an attorney they are going to lock me up....

I received an automated  call from heavy accent man saying he was from the irs and  anonymous call was made that i need to call back or my attorney  do not ignore this call if you do legal actions will be filed on you.  I blocked my number and called back he answered i just hung up I called back at night and i got a message saying person unavailable leave a message IRS does not call people they send letters

Person with Asian accent left me a threatening voice message.  He did not identify himself as being from any particular organization, nor did he leave a name, or direct reason for the call. He also did not leave the message for any particular person (he did not use my name), but maybe trolling for something.

The earlier comment with a number for the federal trade commission did not work.  Not sure where to report this fraud.

I want you to know that you have a nasty voice. I hope this person Will learn a good lesson from these calls.
