Some gal called my cell-phone (no-one except family, kids school,
doctor's offices & my phone company gets this number)...stating she was with Bryant, Hodge and Assoc. a collection agency...?????
LM on their v-mail to call my home number.. Have no idea what this is about.

Left message on my cell phone *ARGGH!!!!  (collection agency - Bryant Hodge & Assoc) just blacklisted that number on my cell.  Thanks T-Mob for that feature!

Received the 2nd call from this so called debt. collection agency requesting an urgent call back. We do not have outstanding debt.The person calling used a recorded message and they did not use our name. our phone number is not listed.

Got the same recorded call as larry. The caller identified herself as Jill from Bryant Hodge and associates.and never mentioned my name. Said to call them. I have never once even been late on a credit card or any other payment other than a couple utility bills. I only have three open accounts all in good standing My last closed account was over two years ago.

I have no idea where they got my number as I only switched to a new phone company 9 days ago.

Google the company and you will find allegation of scams , etc. This is definitely a bogus company. Once again in over twenty years of Credit I have never been even late once let alone missed a payment. This company is a "Garbage debt" collection agency. Do not speak with them and do not call them back.

Got a voice mail from this number on my cell phone with a person identifying himself (can't remember what he said his name was) and that he was with Bryant Hodge. He did start the call by asking for a person with another name (no one I know, no one associated with this number in any way) and even gave a file number that his call was in reference to. No way to know if the name or the file number is real or bogus. We carry NO debt. I'm adding the number to the general called ID I keep on my phone that comes through as "IGNORE" so I know not to pick it up :)

These guys called me too, and now are sending letters.  They are trying to collect on a debt that is beyond the statute of limitations.  Just remember:

Never agree that you validate the debt, once you do, that gives them the right to re-start the statue of limitations THAT DAY.

This number is for a debt from a company called Advance America. I checked Advance America's website, they have a disclaimer stating they are aware a company is calling representating them to collect a debt but says they do not make any phone calls to collect a debt. This is a bogus company and I had a yelling contest with their rep Lisa, told her I'd sue if they called me again. Tactic didnt work. And please, they are going to have you arrested? For what? Not paying on a payday loan? Puhleeze

I received a call from this number stating that I had an outstanding payday loan debt in 2005. I told the guy I didn't recall taking a loan out from that company ever and he began yelling and making threats. He became upset when I asked him to tell me what city and state the loan was allegedly taken out in. After a few mins of going back and forth I realized that he was a scam artist. This isn't the first time someone tried to convince me of a debt I knew nothing about.

One message, and 2 other calls to my cell.  Have notified them twice that I'm on the National Do Not Call list, and have filed 2 complaints against them.  Fry these M-F'krs.

"This is Jill from Bryant Hodge and Associates" Repeated messages left not asking for anyone in particular, calling from this phone number, not stating why I am being called and also asking for a call back at 855-5820-0027

A gentleman called me from this number, stating that he was representing Advanced America.  He said that I had taken out a $500 payday loan and that I needed to pay it back.  I told him that I had never taken out a payday loan from any company and that I did not want them to call me again.  He then started threatening me and stated that if I didn't pay it back that they had my banking information and that they would just take the money out of my account and if they didnt get it that way that they would send the police and they wished me luck.  I told them, "Good send the police.  I have never been in trouble with the police and have a clean record so bring it on and then we can then find out who you are and what company this is that is scamming people", he  then hung up on me.  

He called back again and when I answered the phone, I told him that I have turned this number into the police for investigation and have given it to my attorney.   AMAZING how fast they hung up.

Just got a call from this number. The individual asked for a female who I do not know. I told the individual "wrong number". He then asked "do you know her?". I replied "What part of wrong number do you fail to understand?". His response was "What part of do you know <insert name> do you fail to understand?".

This a scam outfit posing as a debt collection agency.  They called me over my do-not-call number and asked me to call them back over a toll-free number.  I have reported them to DNC.  Hope they will do something about it.  I have also blocked them on my phone.

Received a call from a collection agency saying I was owed a amount of 5,000 dollars. They were trying to collect on behalf of Bank of America, and I never even done business with BOA

This company blasted every single one of my phone numbers simultaneously from cell phones to land lines.  As they would say, the switchboard lit up like a Christmas tree.  They probably have some sort of advanced robo-caller.

Anyway, it was the same as above, some person named Jill left a message.  Put this number on your blacklist and report them, it's a scam operation.

Second call in two months on my cell.  I called back and the gentleman asked for Leiah Dalton.  I replied I didn't know this person and had no idea who whe was.  I was told she had given my number as a secondary contact.  I said sorry I don't know the person.  The gentleman said he would remove my number from the file.  We'll see.

Hang ups from this number.  Is there no organization with regards to internet crime?  I want these people turned in and dealt with.  Why is this harrassment allowed to continue unpunished?

voice. it was a recording and gave a reference number and a different number than the caller id said.
not going to call them I do not have any debt (except mortgage). I would really like to meet these
type of  xxxzzzxxx's and deal with them personally.

Dont ever answer these calls or call them back..Once they realize someone will answer they will continue calling. I have recieved 2 calls in as many days and I am not the recorded name they ask for nor am I in dept
