I get a phone call from this number each day. They don't leave a message.

I've also gotten a call from this number the past two mornings, also without a message.

We've been receiving phone calls from this number but when we answer, no one is ever there. I dialed the number and there is a prompt to be put on their "do not call" list. I did that. The recording said we were removed but I'll believe that if the calls actually stop.

I got a call that rang twice and then hung up.  After reading the other reports I called the number back to be put on their do not call list.  Hopefully the system works.

I received a call a few days ago but when I called the number back it said I couldn't leave  amessage.  Didn't say who the company was or anything.  Then I called again today and they said ""Sorry I have the wrong number" and hung up.  What the heck?

They should at least have the decency to pick up the phone. Annoying to say the least.  

I get calls from this number at least once a day.  There is never anyone on the other line when I answer.

Call our company every day - as the others say, they hang up as soon as you answer.  Today, I said their phone number (we have caller id) as soon as I picked up and they hung up even quicker!

Please delete my number from your phone list.

Got a call to days in row and the man on the other end says "sorry dialed the wrong number" and then hangs up.

I just got a call now..first time.  It's a girl with a southern accent....asked me to look up some site but I said..not intersted.  Of course she babbled on about making your own website and having people come join my site.  She kept talking and talking so I hung up.

Said they were "1 & 1 Hosting"

The phone rang this morning and the male voice said "Sorry, wrong number."  Yah, right!!!!  I'll be waiting for their next call and will repeat the number as it shows on caller id.  Great idea, thanks!

I've been getting about one call a day from this number, (207) 692-2570.  There is never anyone on the other end.  I guess when I see that number, I just won't answer it.  What a pain.

We've gotten nearly a daily phone call from this phone number.  It 'sounds' like a real person at the other end but I'm not sure because they always say the same thing in the same tone  'I'm sorry, I reached the wrong number'

just received one of these calls myself.  I've seen this number pop uo on my caller ID in the past but before I could write the number down, the line disconnects.  Today, I immediately wrote the # down before answering and getting hung up on again.  Really frustrating to have to stop in the middle of something to answer a dead call!

When people call off of an automated dialer, sometimes the timing with the answering is off. So for those who feel as though they were hung up on as soon as they answered, that may not be the case. When you own a business or start a new business, your number automatically becomes public information which allows other businesses to call you. So even if you are registered within a DNC list, it doesn't usually apply to other businesses. All you have to do is ask the individual businesses to put you on their personal DNC list and they have to comply. That is much easier than arguing with them. Now usually when other businesses such as 1and1.com call regarding something such as your website, they ask for the owner because they need to speak with whomever makes business decisions. There is no sense in wasting anyone else's time if they are not the person that makes the decisions. If you actually look up the company, they are legit. Now I understand everyone gets frustrated receiving numerous calls, but you have to remember that corporate business normally have different call center locations. So this doesn't mean they are trying to harass you, it means that it isn't the same person calling over again. The person you yell at may have called you for the first time on their end and had no idea you were already called a few times. Just tell them to put you on the DNC list and they won't call anymore. They also have their commercial played on tv. I'm sure if it was a scam, they wouldn't be able to advertise on television.

We gave gotten this same phone call its a scam. They call and say they are updating your business website. The thing is we don't have a business website. Just hang up or ignore them.
