I was at work, it went to vm. No message left

The automated recording said that it was from the credit card company but they did not say which one. I waited and asked the guy(with a thick accent) which credit card? He replied with all of the major cards. I demanded that he leave me alone and he hung up. I called the number back and the message said that it was a disconnected line. Its a fake recording. The phone company always repeats the number that you dialed before it says "disconnected". Phone scam if ever I saw one.

Same guy is calling my 14 year olds cell and wont remove her number from the calling list.  What does that say about him that he want to keep my daughters cell number?  CREEPY

Received call saying that he represented all credit card companies and was able to reduce my interest rate to 6.99%.  I asked the name of the company, he says 'Customer Card Services' located in Orlando, Fl (and others).  I asked for information to be emailed to me so I can review to see if this was a scam. He said OK he will email it to me and then hung up. Funny thing is I never gave him my email address.  I called back and it was a disconnected number.

Same as others...Weird area code, automated message when you answer, pressed 1 to talk to an associate. When the associate answered, he asked how my day was and I said fine, then proceeded with My Number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST, so why are you calling me? The POS hung up on me!! I'm like, dang he couldn't even apologize and say he'll take care of it.

How are they getting numbers? Even more so, when you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST? And what can be done about it?

I typically DO NOT ANSWER, numbers out of my area and/or that I do not recognize! But 3 days in a row, 3 different numbers showing and just fed up with my phone ringing for this kind of stupid garbage!!

Just got a call from 208 273 6523.  Something about credit card interest reduction.  When I pushed 1 to talk to a rep I was disconnected. Obviously a scam and I don't know why I pushed 1.  Do I need to worry about this?!?

I just received a call and like all the others here i pressed 1 to speak with a representative. The representative had a very thick accent and asked me twice what my age was after i said I want my number to be taken off the call list. When I replied that my age is none of his concern he hung up on me. SCAMMMMMMM. How is this even legal?

I'm located in Florida.  Received a call on my cell phone from the above number.  I didn't answer it.

Received call from this number, claiming it was for me as a "cardholder," no mention of brand or bank. Obvious scam. Pressed one, got a guy with a Hindu accent who claimed he was calling from Orlando, Florida. When I pressed him for the name of his business and his street address, he claimed he "could not give that information." He then demanded "Why you want to know this thing?" When I explained that I was on the Federal Do Not Call list, and wanted to report him properly, he laughed and yelled, "IN YOUR DREAMS BABY!"

And hung up, of course. Pure scam, pure scum.

Just received this same call and I don't even have a credit card!  I'm in Florida.  Called the number and received a disconnected notice like everyone else.  My phone said the call was from Idaho, I have blocked this number on my phone.  I hate this because I gave up a land line years ago so I wouldn't have to receive calls from solicitors or scammers.

I just got a call from this number just a few minutes ago.  I didn't answer.  I googled the number and found this page.  I am on the Do Not Call List.  I reported it to them.  I recommend reporting calls, as this, to them anyways.  What good is the Do Not Call List if it is not held accountable.  https://www.donotcall.gov/   I report them all.   They don't seem to repeat after I report them... so far anyways **fingers crossed**

208-273-6523 called my cell yesterday morning . I didn't answer it and no message left. I was just googled the number and found this site. I see i'm not the only one that was curious. I'm in Alaska
