SCAM!!!! Caller says that our computer is infected with viruses and also hacked. Claims to be from "windows technical support". Lots of other people getting calls from this number Caller says similar things: from windows, from
windows technical support, yes it Microsoft windows, no it is not Microsoft windows, its Dell, etc. Don't pick up the phone. Delete the message. You don't even have to listen to it before deleting.

It's not Dell, dope. But it is a scam.
Dell would not pretend to be Microsoft. Duh,

The number is "not in service" when you call back.
The caller ID is now blocked but on many phones all you need to do is "add" them to your block list and the actual number displays - remove the additional digits they add to F you up and then block the remaining 10 digit number.
Just did that and when they called back 20 min later, they were blocked.

"windows technical support"  has been calling repeatedly for about a week...from before 7:00 am to 10 pm......unfortunately the callers voices are so heavily accented that it is difficult to understand......I have told them that we are not interested in anything they have to say and to remove us from their list.....however, they continue to call repeatedly all hours of the day and night...I have hung up on them repeatedly, most of the time I just let it ring and  they never leave a message. My husband usually sleeps during the day because of his work schedule, so we are repeatedly being woken up.  Our telephone does not have a "block" feature.  Is there ANYTHING we can do to get them to stop calling  ( short of buying an expensive new phone ) ?

i got called five times a couple days od go. i forget what company they siad they were from but the phone was a scam. when u call back it says number is not a working number
